My cable provider has added a run through of all the goals scored by every club this season. I just watched all of ours (it's great - no goals against, so it's like we've never conceded!) and was struck by the brilliance of several assists. Which gets your vote for the best of the season so far? I think I give my vote to Steven Davis' assist for the second goal against Arsenal. He took the ball down over his shoulder, controlled it brilliantly on the volley and then crossed it from a tight angle. Okay, a bit of luck was needed to convert it into a goal (it was the one where the Arsenal keeper screwed up and then had a drink), but that takes nothing away from Davis' bit of skill.

Another Steven Davis one ... Verses Everton, outside of the boot cross for Yoshi to shoulder it in!

I was thinking this one too!

JWP's cross for Bertands goal was perfect too boxing day game vs palace.

Wanyama against Leicester for Long's second.

I was going to say this goal but couldn't remember who provided the assist. It was an amazing pass, timed to perfection.

That was a pass from Tadic.

You're right, must be senility kicking in. He was instrumental in the build up for the first against Arsenal though, with the JWP assist, as well as the assist for the second.

Tadic in Liverpool...Not only did it keep up the moment of the attack, the ball was sat there long enough so we could all see Clyne make his run up and smash it into the back of the net.

Other would be Wanyama for Long in Leicester, probably countless ones from Tadic in his early season.

I like Tadic's tickled cross for Cork's goal against Sunderland.

This is the one that comes to mind for me. Great control, 3 or 4 stepovers then lays it on a plate so that Cork can't miss even though he scuffs it. Reminds you of when Tadic was actually good.

Also as I type that, I remember Tadic's assist for Clyne in the very first game of the season was pretty hard to beat too.
