Every year I want to and every year it creeps up on me before I know it. As with other years I'll be relying on TV while losing my money on the Ladbrokes website. :-)

I would list my bets but it would be an act of stupidity as they won't win. :-(

Yep, I do rubbish every year. Great day out though!

Fourfold on Faugheen, Douvan, Annies Power and Un De Sceaux. Apart from that no.

Look for Beltor on Friday in the JCB Triumph Hurdle - good price on him (my mate is his trainer).

Anyone else going? I'm off on Friday.

Yep, I'm going on Friday. Hoping for some better weather this year!

an old boss if mine (about 5 years ago or so) kept telling us to bet on a horse called Long Run to win the Gold Cup.

He is really into his horses and had bet about £600 on it on various different bets over some time leading up to the event.

I have no idea about horse racing so generally steer well clear.

Long Run won the Gold Cup and the odds on that happening were slashed dramatically in the few days leading up to it.

My old boss won BIG...

Would love to go. Some mates are going this year, but I'd be no fun at the minute with my knee.

Doing surprisingly well considering I know naff all about horses. Over £80 up for the day so far. I'll take that.

Myself and about 10 others go on Friday on a yearly basis, great craic.

Fairplay though, the bookies have taken a bashing so far.

It was good last year, it was the year before it utterly shat it down wasn't it? May be getting my years mixed up though, it all descends into drunkenness.

Actually, you are probably correct because I didn't go last year! I was definitely there the year before and yes, it did shat down.

I won on Long Run that year but probably not BIG, like your boss.

4 winners in a row, if Annies Power comes in next I'm going to retire...

Annie bleeding Power. I can't even get a win on a hot favourite. It's only thanks to Hurricane Fly that I got anything out of the day. Still I don't bet big so only £9 down.

Stitched me up too! Tried to jump the shadow. Stupid horse.

Went on tuesday and it was absolutely devastating seeing Annie fall at the final fence, surreal moment. Cost us all big time, there were a lot of broken looking men. Money aside it would have been such a moment as well.

Moon Racer did well for me today, and tomorrow most of my money is on Vautor
