All quiet on the loan front at the moment, but would you sell Lallana and/or Surman to fund a move for Cork? A young, Bristish versitile player could be worth a lot in the future??

We have absolutely no chance of signing Cork permanently and I have my own doubts on whether we will be able to extend his current loan.

In a ideal world I would love to keep all 3 I can't see us being able to hold on to him on loan or buy him the lad is quality and will be playing in the prem sooner rather than later if he was another foot taller he would be the next Rio quality player

Think we might get him till the end of the season as I don't think Chelsea have made there minds up about his long term future yet. When/if he leaves Chelsea it will be for a reasonable prem side like Bolton or Pompey.

What worries me is that if he is 'for sale' practically every championship side knows how good he is and has more money.

I reckon or best hope is that Chelsea are in two minds about him and want to hang on to him for the rest of the season - leaving him on loan at Saints of course!

my guess would be that we will need to either have sold Lallana/Surman, cut a deal with Euell or loaned out Saga and Dyer again before we can afford the Cork loan.

I just hope that the board members plus crouch etc can see this guys obvious potential and put their hands in their pockets. It would be a good investment. Think Jan's dream of the play offs is more realistic though.

Would swap any player other than Kelvin for Cork.

He's a great player, a real class act. Would be brilliant to keep him for another 6 months. It's becoming less likely with every day that passes though.

Just been watching motd this afternoon sign up Santiago Munez. Scored a screaming free kick to get Newcastle in Europe!

Would rather have Gavin Harris to be fair. Munez looks a bit of a luxury, we need a proven goalscorer. ;)

Do you think Harris would fit in with Rupes youth team policy as he is 29, plus I would be worried about his playboy lifestyle!!

We spoke to Jack in DG4 after the game, A really nice lad .

He said he wants to stay but realisticly I for one cant see Chelsea allowing him to perform in this circus much longer.

He has a very bright future. do we honestlt belive our current team/possition/board etc is the ideal situation for the boy to learn his trade?

Too good for us, he wants experience in a championship team not a division 1 team!

We could get Santi Munez's little brother, he'd be cheap and he nicks Ferraris and drives them about at the age of 12 .Just up our street.

Cork has gone to another (struggling) Championship club. What a load of sh***.

Really ? So we made no effort to keep him, in other words ?

Inspired. You gotta love the management of this club...

If you check the poster he makes no mention of where he has gone or when but hang on, check the time he posted and the date...maybe celebrating the new year in and maybe in high spirits, just a thought but of course blame the management of this club for someones course of joviality.

So where is the OS confirmation that Cork is staying then ?

Oh......

You really have nothing to say, dont you ??? But always happy to sneer pedantically at others....

Why do you come here ?

You confuse me, you want confirmation that Cork is staying but the OS is not giving it so when I quote that the OS has not confirmed he has not left indefinately you say I have nothing to say. As for sneer pedantically at others you really have to look and read most of your own posts, you will find you invented those two words and work them to an art. Have a nice day.

And the use of the double-negative is shocking.

In the cold light of day I am still convinced he has gone...

Point..?

Wind up merchant? (Bailey rather than team-saint)

The Cork to Watford rumour only seems to exist on this site and seems rather unlikely following the Hoyte loan move.

Cork's gone to Watford.

What with Brendan Rogers being their manager now, and with his Chelsea connections, it's hardly surprising.

No he hasn't,no he won't.

This may come back to haunt me.

To be fair, Bailey gets far more rumours right than he gets wrong.

I sincerely hope he is wrong in this instance though.

You can still be right and be a wind up merchant - Bailey does seem positively gleeful in his "Cork is leaving" posts.
