Ewell Posted 2 March, 2015 Share Posted 2 March, 2015 Just when you thought it was safe enough to forget and move on from immigration street another Southampton based TV star comes along. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2975365/The-mother-beaten-30-times-day-CHILDREN-Woman-reveals-stabbed-scissors-strangled-son-11-daughter-nine.html

the saint in winchester Posted 2 March, 2015 Share Posted 2 March, 2015 Key phrase is that she imposed no boundaries or rules of behaviour. She thought the best way to handle it was to appear on television.
buctootim Posted 2 March, 2015 Share Posted 2 March, 2015 Jorja was probably seeking revenge for her name.

bridge too far Posted 2 March, 2015 Share Posted 2 March, 2015 ****e parenting. That simple. Easy to jump to conclusions, isn't it. My daughter has two sons. The eldest, 6 years old, is the kindest, most thoughtful, intelligent, polite little chap you could ever wish to meet. Not a nasty bone in his body. His brother, who is coming up to 2 and a half, is the complete opposite. Hurts the cat, tries to strangle his older brother (who never, ever reacts), pinches his mother and thinks it's a joke if he's sent to the naughty stair. Both boys raised in exactly the same way and with a primary school teacher for a father but he could easily get out of control. Both parents are exemplary and never resort to any sort of hitting but there are times when my daughter is in tears because of his behaviour. Hockey_saint Posted 2 March, 2015 Share Posted 2 March, 2015 I love how it says in the article that she actually thought appearing on a TV show would solve her family's problems....seriously, when did this become the norm? :s

Difference being I'm sure your daughter hasn't admitted to implementing no boundaries/rules and crying to a TV show instead. That is ****e parenting. Wurzel Posted 4 March, 2015 Share Posted 4 March, 2015 I had the dubious pleasure of spending an evening in the company of this lady and her then husband/boyfriend/partner/whatever must have been 9 years ago as it was just after the older girl had been born. Let's just say none of this story surprises me.
