Redslo Posted 2 March, 2015 Share Posted 2 March, 2015 Well yes, except he's at a bigger team that can pay him more money and he's going to be playing in the Champions League next season with them. We have no chance. I can't dispute the bigger club and Champion's League points, but we can probably afford to pay him more than he is making right now. FM 2015 says he is making just under 34K pounds per week. Would be interested in Everton's finances. They seem to be on a higher level to us, but I doubt there income/wealth is exponentially more than ours. They've kept Baines, Coleman and up until now, Barkley. They signed Lukaku. It can be done. Everton's finances are discussed in detail here. http://swissramble.blogspot.com/search/label/Everton

I cannot say how much they will offer him but we are 25th on Deloitte's money list and Wolfsburg is not in the top 30. Strange as it may seem, due to the size of the Premier League's TV contracts, we have more money that Wolfsburg. According to FM 2015 their top ten players are paid more than our top ten players but below that ours are paid as well or better.

trousers Posted 4 March, 2015 Share Posted 4 March, 2015 http://talksport.com/football/southampton-keep-tabs-rayo-vallecano-hotshot-150304138477 Southampton are keeping tabs on Rayo Vallecano hotshot Alberto Bueno. The 26-year-old is out of contract in the summer and Saints boss Ronald Koeman reckons he could do a job on the south coast. Bueno hit the headlines after a stunning four-goal haul in Rayo's 4-2 win over Levante at the weekend – and now some of Europe's biggest clubs are circling. Inter Milan and Wolfsburg are also following the striker closely and it has been suggested that both are readying contract offers. And that could encourage Koeman to make his move as he bids to bolster his front line this summer.

doddisalegend Posted 4 March, 2015 Share Posted 4 March, 2015 For the summer could we just keep all the players we've got and add a..... 25 goal a season striker, a 15 goals a season attacking midfielder, a player who can turn any attacking free kick into a goal plus an international class back up keeper.............not to much to ask is it? Wiggles31 Posted 5 March, 2015 Share Posted 5 March, 2015 Barring the probable sales of Schneiderlin and Clyne I hope we strengthen this summer and build on what we have. I would let Elia return to Wolfsburg and get another pacey winger in. He's not convinced me yet but there is still 10 games for him to sell himself to the club. Striker we desperately need. A powerful pacey forward like a Diouf, Sakho or a Benteke as examples of the sort of player, not sure who is out there. Not sure Ings wpuld fit the way we play. Clasie and Trippier/Bryam to replace Schneiderlin and Clyne. Strengthen and we can have another great season. Keeping Koeman is absolutely key. Lallana's Left Peg Posted 21 April, 2015 Share Posted 21 April, 2015 Reports in Italy say Tevez could decide to move to Boca Juniors this summer. If he does that would surely mean any permanent move for Osvaldo is out of the window?

If he does that would surely mean any permanent move for Osvaldo is out of the window? I heard them talking about this on the BT Sport European show on Sunday, they suggested that Boca's 'dream' is to have Osvaldo and Tevez up front for them. Window Cleaner Posted 21 April, 2015 Share Posted 21 April, 2015 Do they have an equivalent of FFP in Argentina/South America? No idea, perhaps one of the CM fans would know that, didn't we have an Argentine poster a while ago ?
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 21 April, 2015 Share Posted 21 April, 2015 No idea, perhaps one of the CM fans would know that, didn't we have an Argentine poster a while ago ? Fair enough, you're generally pretty knowledgable so thought I'd ask. I have less than no idea. They do still have 3rd party ownership (for now, I think FIFA are wanting to crack down on that?) so I'm sure someone could help them out there. Though not sure how beneficial it is to take established names back to SA. They generally go for rising stars, before they get a big move to Europe. I think (could be wrong, basically I know v little about South American footy!)?
Smirking_Saint Posted 21 April, 2015 Share Posted 21 April, 2015 Young Concelo on loan at Valencia from Benfica. Young, quick, steady. Should be attainable. Or trippier, Van Der Weil. As per a morgan replacement, illarramendi doesnt get much game time at real
Benny F Posted 21 April, 2015 Share Posted 21 April, 2015 Do you understand what FFP is? I don't really. But im guessing its do with the amount of club can generate regardless of the owner. i.e Liverpool can pay £100k a week to Henderson but we cant get it near it, because frankly, you dont see a saints shirt on a favela kid in Brazil. Its always liverpool, utd etc. We dont generate enough cash for which on big wages to splash?
Benny F Posted 21 April, 2015 Share Posted 21 April, 2015 oh yeah , we need a no. 10. A Saint Silva/Countinho/Oscar/Mata/ type of player with far less demand for money. Djuricic??? did he and will he ever be able to do it?
