Saint_clark Posted 21 February, 2015 Share Posted 21 February, 2015 (edited) A lot of people blame Pochettino for "brainwashing" the players and making it feel like they had to leave once he'd gone, but from the way they talk there I think it was Cortese. They clearly felt the club was going to slide back down without him and I reckon had they known, they'd have stayed. The way we've performed this season has made an absolute mockery of all the "no ambition" comments from Rodgers and Lovren, as well as others. Quite funny though that when talking about our players this season Lallana can't bring himself to mention Pelle, Tadic and Toby...their replacements. CanadaSaint Posted 21 February, 2015 Share Posted 21 February, 2015 They all look to me as though they don't want to be there (less so in Rickie's case), which could mean that it's the club's idea for defusing a situation that might not work in their favour. martel Posted 21 February, 2015 Share Posted 21 February, 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PkpdIWGJjU&feature=youtu.be Lovren and Lallana know that Ricki will only get a cheer from Saints fans tomorrow, whereas there reception will, shall we say be less so. No it's not! It's like being dumped by a boyfriend for someone they thought was better than you. You move on and rebuild your life and realise how much better you're off without them. Then a year on they start following you around, looking at you all misty eyed and soppy. You half feel sorry for them, half think, sod you, let's ramp up the humiliation. Ahem, apologies, got a bit carried away there.

Saint Fan CaM Posted 21 February, 2015 Share Posted 21 February, 2015 SRL - not a problem - he was at the end of his career. Lovren - couldn't give a toss...mercenary journeyman. Lallana - completely without an ounce of class...didn't understand what being a Captain is about and showed how shallow he really is...no respect for his position, SFC or the fans. His mate Gerrard could teach him a few things about loyalty and respect.

L_O_Z Posted 21 February, 2015 Share Posted 21 February, 2015 I love Rickie. Think he's a great guy, very humble and you can tell he's got where he wanted to go the hard way. Nothing but respect for him. I remember seeing him in Wesy Quay going to buy something for his Mrs. My mate and another few guys wanted photos. He took time out of his day shopping to stand and take photos with fans in the middle of the shopping centre. Think he handled the move very respectfully and I do believe he wants us to continue to do well. Maybe not at Liverpools expense but you can tell he's a Saints fan just by the way he smiles when he talks about us. I think footballers give the impression they're horrible people but Lamberts one of the few who seem to be more humble than even the average fan. With our goal drought recently I think Lambert and Lallana could probably walk into the first team.
macca155 Posted 21 February, 2015 Share Posted 21 February, 2015 Of course Lallana would walk into our team he's a good player. Why on earth do you think some/most of our fans are so bitter. I wish he was still a Saints player but he isn't and I've moved on. He'll get dogs abuse tomorrow from me during the match as that's our job. Put him off a bit and Liverpool will lose an edge. Other than that good luck to him.
Avenue Saint Posted 21 February, 2015 Share Posted 21 February, 2015 Rickie is clearly still a Saint at heart. Lovren is a journeyman who couldnt give a toss and Lallana is not only a bit numb on the top floor but also self centred. Lambert will get a reception from me. The other too im not even gonna spend my breath on. Not bothered.
