Small allocation as well, only 1436 tickets available.

we should easily sell out now even being a lunchtime sunday kick off on sky

Seems a slightly weird policy to subsidise them but then only take half the available allocation.

3 seasons in a row now we've taken the smaller allocation.

It's all we need. Still not exactly cheap, Sunday lunch time, on tv.

Indeed. Was contemplating going (before the discount was announced) but no chance of it going to general sale now I would imagine.

It sold out pretty quickly last season IIRC, and that was a Sunday game as well. At £40, it's a much more attractive price - I think that's what we charge for Cat A games now!

I suppose it is our only away game that month , and an easy journey, perhaps they were happy subsidising a small number of tickets, but holding some of the away fans fund back for another reduced price game in May when we have three away games on 2nd, 9th, 24th

I've spoken to supporters liaison officer and she has suggested there are plans for further initiatives on future away games

For Sunderland we had already agreed the same deal as we had with Newcastle that all supporters for games between us would be £25

Anyone got a season ticket number they won't be using that I could use next Tuesday to get two tickets? Want to go with my friend as she's a Chelsea fan and don't want to end up in the Chelsea end!

And, by extension, why would anyone want a Saints ticket ending up with a Chelsea fan?

You want someone to help you but are openly admitting you're going to get a Chelsea fan an away end ticket?

She's at Southampton Uni, and has been to SMS this season with me. Saints are her second team, hence why I've singled out the Chelsea game as one for us to go to...

Oh that's OK then, if they're her second team.. That tells you all you need to know about the girl. If I was you I'd steer well clear. The type of people that say they have a second team are the sort of people with no loyalty. Next week she'll be off to watch her third team Arsenal with someone else that shows an interest in her and she'll be bent over the toilet by him at half time.

make sure no Utd players about.

Why don't just go in the home and leave the ticket for the much more limited away end to a Saints fan instead of giving it to part time Chelsea fan that you want to stick one up.

What a sad, pathetic comment.

His "friend" who is female and a Chelsea fan. Beckenham saint probably giving it the large one that he's be able to get her a ticket for the game. If you want to try and unload your love glue pal don't do it at the expense of a saints fan.

Griffo is right. Nothing says I know f*ck all about football than someone who ever says 'and my second team is.....'

Don't listen to them Beckenham I also have friends who support Other Clubs and Sometimes I will Sit in their End or they will Sit in My End because that is Quite Normal when you're Friends going to game Together but Support Other Teams

Even though it's a breach of ground regulations? We seem to have a lot of people who have a blaize attitude to crime on here.

I only obey laws I agree with. I find that the Police are generally ok with this, they only get a bit snarky with me sometimes about Speeding and things like that.

She's a Doris FFS. They don't get the one club thing. (Dons tin hat and awaits incomming)

Bloody charming. That is my second resort, but if you don't ask then you don't get.

Wow that was fast, I only got one because I noticed they were on sale when I checked out the 15/16 Season Ticket link, did it even make it past the 6/4 ST holders only stage?

Sold out to season ticket holders on 4 away games.

Did someone mention recently that a “Supporters Liaison Officer” or something similar was now in place at the club? Any update on what/when we’re going to hear from them on?

Posted

I am really pee'd off!!! I have been away three times this season and really wanted to go to this one. If the full allocation had been taken it would have sold out.

why don't you try contacting her at Club and I'm sure she be happy to talk to you, details are on website

She was the person responsible subsidised travel and other treats including Christmas hats for those who went to Crystal Palace and the £10 off tickets at Chelsea, and when I contacted her recently said more ideas planned for some of remaining away games

Bit carp considering how often we have sold out for away games that some narrow minded thinking has gone on in the ticket office to take just the smallest amount with the game being just up the road.

Or is someone on a bonus with the £10 saving "ooo we sold out and still have £15k in the pot".
