So, probably looks like Morgan will be on the bench at best. I've got a hunch Koeman might throw Djuricic in at the deep end, so line up possibly as follows?

Forster

Clyne - Fonte - Gardos - Yoshida

Wanyama - Davis

Elia - Djuricic - Mane

Pelle

Subs: K.Davis, McCarthy, Reed, JWP, Schneiderlin, Tadic, Seager

Morgan and his dodgy groin. Keeps flaring up and not good news that on his comeback at the weekend there is another problem (though to be fair, it may not be his groin). Lets hope another 10 days of rest and he is ready for Liverpool.

If Morgan is in the training pic, ie. he trained today, then I reckon he will start. Think Koeman meant he was a doubt as had only played 30 at the weekend.

However, now that JWP has signed his new deal and has to start as part of the Club's commitment to always having an Academy player in the first XI, it may be that Morgan has fallen in the pecking order.

He said Djuricic could play maybe 45 mins, maybe a bit less so I would be amazed if he started, especially over Tadic, JWP or Davis.

He will be on the bench.

Swap JWP and Djuricic and you are on to the winner me thinks. 60 mins Djuricic on, 70 mins Morgan on, 80 mins *next sub* on. In theory.

Yep, now confirmed in the training ground preview video.

I would like to see....

Forster

Clyne

Fonte

Gardos

Yoshida

Wanyama

Davis

Mane

JWP

Elia

Pelle

Davis, McCarthy, Morgan, Djuricic, Tadic, Reed, Seagar

no doubt morgan will get in the pitch at some point and they will target our left side as it appears the weakest part of the team. 2-1 to saints

Disappointing if true if Morgan is doubtful.

Personally i'd be tempted to start Tadic and use Elia as an impact sub.

I think Elia has looked lively in every game he's played in so far and deserves his place more than Tadic imo. I loved seeing Elia and Mane using their pace against QPR and I reckon they'll do the same tomorrow night. I do like Tadic though and think he gets unfair treatment from a lot on here but his form isn't brilliant and a stint on the bench might do him good

Nice one, you Trevor.

I'd like to see Reed next to Wanyama and Davis pushed forward but think Ron will go the same as The bat man!

Totally agree. Maybe I'm too defensively-minded but I really like Reed and he could allow Wanyama just a little bit further forward to cause more trouble for them.

I know several West Ham fans. One group is a family that moved down to the Flower Estates. Their London-based family used to trot down here and refer to it as "the countryside". Nice. I have one friend that use West Ham as a middle name on Facebook. His real middle name is David, and the tramp was born New Forest way, obviously dazzled by the bright highlights of Frank McAvennie's barnet in the 1980s. Another had a dad who was a West Ham supporter, and as someone that'll be using this fixture to brainwash my own scouse daughter into supporting the Saints, I can't really muster any lingering ire for the bloke.

Quite liked the West Ham of the 1980s. They were a good team that tried to play nice football, so it was a shame to see Sam graft his percentage-based game onto a traditionally stylish team, but you can't really argue with results and they usually play better stuff these days. Sounds like they're going to park the bus tomorrow, if you believe Allardyce.

I'd be prepared for anything. They've got a decent team, can do short or direct, good at set pieces and keeping the ball alive in the box, based on observations from the United game. We're good at most of the things they're good at. Potential own-team bias ahoy, but I think we've got better quality and with Mane back, a healthy slice of unpredictability. Hopefully, that'll reflect in the result. An early goal could fúck up all their plans.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Sam G in the squad

They seem pretty confident. Good, I hope they don't sit back and come at us, because they'll struggle getting the ball off us if they do.

Hope the crowd don't resort to the "hoof, hoof" shouts when WHam play a long ball, it gets very dull.

Perhaps instead we could sing "are you man united in disguise?"

Which was of its time and certainly wound up wham fans - well the "you used to play football" chant did anyway.

Then again, you wouldn't know. You don't go to games.

Well he wasn't training with the first team, and Ronald said it would be a few weeks at least before he would be back with the first team squad in training. Reckon he will figure in a few more u21 games before we see him again in the PL.

He was in the Under 21's team than lost to Everton and shame themselves according to Hunter.

Those songs took off at away games when you were probably on here or cooking a Valentine's dinner for your mrs. As I say, songs that were of their time and had their desired effect.

Our fans need to get behind us tommorow as recently st marys been like a church.

Agree. Its a massive match but many will be more bothered about their watered down beer, salmonella hot dog, synthetic cigarette or ladbrokes slip which probably lists Mayuka as 8-1 FGS.

Hopefully an atmosphere to match the importance.

On that, anyone else think the music we play just before KO is ****? There is a potentially decent #wemarchon video but they play it too early and lose any momentum from it.

Shame Morgan looks like he won't feature. Been very stop-start for him since November and with 8 yellows and a 2 match ban fairly possible, it could well continue.

If he knows he is off in the summer and probably knows where, could there be a conflict of interest? Doubt it, but woukd be hard not to think of the future once you know you are off.

That was sung last season and perfectly timed as the last line was sung Jack Cork hoofed a big one up the pitch which most of the stadium joined in the hoooooofff of to great amusement.

Can't we have some goals from clubs history before game like spurs do to get us in mood? Whys it so quiet these days?

Will be there tomorrow back in my usual ST place in the Northam & am feeling confident about tomorrow

as I think we'l win 2-1 or 2-0 which I will take with Spurs & MP dropping points at Liverpool which has let

them-(Liverpool!) & Arsenal back in so a Win is a must but we'l see as this is Saints as on paper we should

Win but who knows.....!!! :-)

Would put Morgan on the bench or play him for the Liverpool game & maybe give Djurucic a run out in

the 2nd 1/2 maybe but we'l see.....!!! :-)

COYR!!! :D

Wish I could be there more often to cheer them on. Might be a little pressure tomorrow as we took so long to score v qpr, you should give it hell to spur them on. last game before the big rest, for the fans too!

What about using the 3-5-2 format like

--------- FF ----------

- Yoshi - Fonte - Gardos -

Clyne -------------- Davis

----- Big V- Reed -------

-- Elia ------ Mane---

------- Pelle ------

Not sure how that is a 3-5-2, but I think Koeman will play the standard 4-3-3 and tinker on it depending if Carroll plays or not.

I suspect koeman would liked to have used this the 3 CB formation more + prob it would be option for this game, but he has been frustrated by injuries. Needs All of Clyne & Bertrand & prob Underwood also to make it work. Kelvin Davis at left wing-back would be carnage :(

I have my suspicions, but I don't dare speak for Bearsy.

I would play Elia at left wing back and hope for good carnage.

I think he's trolling again. All the success he had trolling LVG has gone to his head!

He hits his troll mark at just the right level, I think.

I mean, he has no problem comparing himself with Arsene Wenger, but he's not brave enough to put himself in the company of true visionaries, such as Tony Pulis, or Nigel Adkins in a Tony Pulis mask and outfit.
