angelman Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Think it's better in a way, just to keep West Ham well adrift If they had won and beaten us on Wed, that would put them right in the mix.
lickierambert Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Good result. Still ahead of Utd and West Ham deflated
BallBoy Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 I think this is marginally the best result for us. The most important thing is that we beat WHU on Wednesday. They are now well adrift, tired and deflated. We are still 3rd!
Saint Charlie Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Hammers have a big cup game on Saturdayb12.45 too, away at WBA. They have a real chance in that competition so might have an eye on that.
adrian lord Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 De Gea is the only reason the red scum are not mid table.
Saint_Tony Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 If they had won and beaten us on Wed, that would put them right in the mix. Exactly, hopefully come Wednesday night we will have a nice gap over them and Liverpool.
ART Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Think we will be lucky on Wednesday as our midgets, bar Mané, will struggle against Sam's giants.
doddisalegend Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 I'll take that result still 3rd with Morgan and Victor back I think we have a decent chance at home against WHU.
shurlock Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Wham got a taste of their own medicine. Draw suits us fine.
SNSUN Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 I like the look of Alex Song, always looks composed. If we lose Morgan in the summer, I'd not mind us pursuing him as a replacement.
Lighthouse Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Best result for us IMO. 4 points dropped by our rivals instead of just 3. I think a win Wednesday would put us out of reach of the hammers, baring an awful collapse in form, with them then being 11 points behind us.

Saints foreva Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 I like the look of Alex Song, always looks composed. If we lose Morgan in the summer, I'd not mind us pursuing him as a replacement. Don't understand why Arsenal didn't try and get him back last summer.
S-Clarke Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Pearson sacked. Didn't help himself with all his confrontations, but you have to wonder what anyone new will be able to do at this stage? Should have done it a few weeks ago.
CB Fry Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Don't managers only ever get sacked after playing us?
stockportsaint Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 De Gea is the only reason the red scum are not mid table. This. And he's pretty much a cert to go to Real Madrid in the summer. He's from Madrid, he gets to speak his own language, eat his own food, live in a warm country, and definitely play in the Champs League every season. Apparently Casillas made some howlers yesterday in their 4-0 defeat in the Madrid derby, and he's 34 in may. Good time to replace and you really can't see De Gea turning down Real.
