lickierambert Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Very odd indeed, as were his comments on incident after match. Proper anger management issues there
Sour Mash Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 West Ham look good. United are poor. Van Gaal has been lucky so far, no-way is he getting the most out of those players.
shurlock Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Basically same old Wham - don't see much of a passing game from them. Biggest difference is that they are direct by hitting balls down the channels rather than to a central target man.
Batman Posted 8 February, 2015 Author Posted 8 February, 2015 West Ham look good. United are poor. Van Gaal has been lucky so far, no-way is he getting the most out of those players. He has been very average as United manager. Despite the huge sums spent. He has gotten off very lightly by the media for this. Just weird team selections
Professor Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 I blame the ref for allowing WHU to score. The officials are always against Man U. Confirmed by their manager.
Saint Charlie Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 (edited) Basically same old Wham - don't see much of a passing game from them. Biggest difference is that they are direct by hitting balls down the channels rather than to a central target man. The two strikers definitely force the centre backs to defend, and make it harder to play out from the back. They also have better, more dynamic full backs than before, but are still a team that get the ball forward quickly. Miles better without Carroll and have some midfield players who can pick a pass. They play narrow though, with two up and Downing in behind, so the opposition full backs can get plenty of space. Makes our having no natural LB a blow. Edited 8 February, 2015 by Saint Charlie
Saint_Tony Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Draw would be a good result for us, but I wouldn't be confident about us beating West Ham on wednesday if they play like this.
Dr Who? Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Hope we can defend their set pieces! Very well oiled side
Batman Posted 8 February, 2015 Author Posted 8 February, 2015 Is Phillip Neville putting on a different style to his voice whilst being a pundit???
SO16_Saint Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 West Ham doing well today, but I can see the comments of 'we can't even beat this shît' on Wednesday...
Verbal Kint Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 West Ham doing well today, but I can see the comments of 'we can't even beat this shît' on Wednesday... They're a very good side. This is our hardest home game left IMO
Saint_clark Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Hope we can defend their set pieces! Very well oiled side I've much more faith in our defense than Uniteds (cant believe i'm saying that). Is Phillip Neville putting on a different style to his voice whilst being a pundit??? I thought it was gary neville...?
Batman Posted 8 February, 2015 Author Posted 8 February, 2015 They're a very good side. This is our hardest home game left IMO Dunno. Liverpool and Spurs are better than West Ham United are just not very good How we never utterly smashes them at SMS I will never know same for them away to arsenal
Batman Posted 8 February, 2015 Author Posted 8 February, 2015 I've much more faith in our defense than Uniteds (cant believe i'm saying that). I thought it was gary neville...? I'm watching an Internet feed
Verbal Kint Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Dunno. Liverpool and Spurs are better than West Ham United are just not very good How we never utterly smashes them at SMS I will never know same for them away to arsenal Spurs and Liverpool spend 90% of games looking very ordinary and rely on one or two special players to bail them out. West Ham are an all round good team I think
Dr Who? Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Blimey, the do a lot of Win, draw, lose, a little inconsistent away from home. Draw more than anything, so probably 1-1?
SO16_Saint Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Hahahaha! .. Ha ha Falcao What just happened. The Mrs has comandeered the computer and kids the tv
trousers Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 .. What just happened. The Mrs has comandeered the computer and kids the tv He missed a sitter
Pastor Patrón Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Shaw and Fellaini cost about as much as our entire starting 11
Batman Posted 8 February, 2015 Author Posted 8 February, 2015 The mighty Man United. If they are losing they stick fellaini on and just lump the ball up to him Jesus Christ
Faz Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Draw would be a good result for us, but I wouldn't be confident about us beating West Ham on wednesday if they play like this. Tony, whn was the last time you were confident about us beating anybody? Serious question.
Dr Who? Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 The mighty Man United. If they are losing they stick fellaini on and just lump the ball up to him Jesus Christ Not the force they were, so this is their last resort. Back in the day, they would keep playing and normally score a couple of late goals.
angelman Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 We should still be beating West Ham at home! If you had to choose who to play at home on Wednesday, WHU or ManU, I would probably take ManU (just).
lickierambert Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 West Ham look exhausted. How good does our win there look now?
Dr Who? Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 If you had to choose who to play at home on Wednesday, WHU or ManU, I would probably take ManU (just). Tough one, but we seem to have some terrible luck against Man U. Tend to have a good record against West Ham.
Saint_Tony Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Tony, whn was the last time you were confident about us beating anybody? Serious question. I tipped us to beat QPR, and also Swansea last week, hope that answers your question. As for Wednesday, think it will be a 1-1 draw.
Dr Who? Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Tough one, but we seem to have some terrible luck against Man U. Tend to have a good record against West Ham. At home
Dr Who? Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 If you had to choose who to play at home on Wednesday, WHU or ManU, I would probably take ManU (just). But if you added Swansea to this, I would say Swansea home please
Dr Who? Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 De Gea has kept them in a lot of games. But not man of match. He has been amazing. Here comes their late goal!
Saint_Tony Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 1-1 not too bad if it finishes that way. Think it's better in a way, just to keep West Ham well adrift
Saint Charlie Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 1-1 not too bad if it finishes that way. Agree. Will deflate WH a bit and they have put a massive shift in. United poor.
Verbal Kint Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 The mighty Man United. If they are losing they stick fellaini on and just lump the ball up to him Jesus Christ The only tactic they've used all season where they've looked a threat. They should just play him up top from the start and launch it. They'd win more games
