Batman Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Some big games at the top. Starting at the lane. We really need to be beating QPR today. Which I think we will
Morse Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Easy 3 points today, which is just as well as Arsenal are going to beat Spuds.
Batman Posted 7 February, 2015 Author Posted 7 February, 2015 1-1 Kane again Who said he was not very good a few months ago when we tried to get him? Quality player
DG Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Arsenal have been poor but still a threat on the break. Can't call this one but a draw would be handy.
markr27 Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 The Swansea winger that Bertrand cut in half last week has recovered enough to keep his place in the starting XI (alongside Cork).
Saints foreva Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Late Eriksen winner written all over this.
markr27 Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 A quality finish there - the keeper just watched on helplessly.
Rasiak-9- Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Not the worst goal in the world. Arsenal win is the worst result for us and that's now eliminated. Certainly wouldn't mind an Arsenal equaliser.
austsaint Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Spuds look very sharp. I guess Poch isn't getting the sack anytime soon.
Lighthouse Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 2 minutes early and it wasn't Eriksen. A new tactic at Spurs.
Batman Posted 7 February, 2015 Author Posted 7 February, 2015 Spurs just look so much more powerful in the 2nd half of games Kane is easily the best English striker in the country at the mo
SuperMikey Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Spurs just look so much more powerful in the 2nd half of games That's one thing that Poch ensures with all his extra fitness training, the players keep working hard and running up until the 90th minute. Got to say Kane was completely anonymous in the first half, but a few tweaks at HT and he's shown what a threat he can be in front of goal.
ART Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 It is imperative that we get all 3 points today. Have a feeling it's going to be difficult.
Puddings and Monkeys Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Spuds look very sharp. I guess Poch isn't getting the sack anytime soon. Be off to a big club soon.
Lighthouse Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Be off to a big club soon. Would like my tits off if he walked out on them for one of the big Spanish clubs in summer.
bilbot79 Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Feckers. Was never coming from behind with us, now Spurs are coming from behind all the f***in time.Only saving grace is if one of them was to win its better for us that it was spurs. Hope we beat QPR. It would be such a romantic story if we nabbed 4th with spurs finishing 5th.
Saint_Tony Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 It is imperative that we get all 3 points today. Have a feeling it's going to be difficult. Absolutely, can't afford to slip up again, the pressure is unrelenting.
OldNick Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Poch is a good manager and is turning them around
Bewildered Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 What has Martinez done to Everton? Merseyside derby, at home, and they haven't had a shot on target after an hour.
Lighthouse Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 What has Martinez done to Everton? Merseyside derby, at home, and they haven't had a shot on target after an hour. Turned them in to Wigan basically. Mirallas and Lukaku have performed far below their best this season and Barkley isn't old enough to carry that team yet. With Jagielka and Barry getting older things are going to get worse before they get better at the back too.
Lorne Malvo Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Liverpool will spawn a late win,, probably Sturridge so the media can cream all over it.
Saint Charlie Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 If Everton can hold them that would be brilliant. Liverpool and Spurs looking strong at the moment.
Saintmike5 Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Everton really are such a poor side to watch now, can't believe it's basically the same team that got over 70 points last year. Barry and especially Lukaku have pretty much mugged them off by playing so well last year on loan, then signing permanent contracts and now look pitiful shadows of their 2013-14 selves. If Liverpool don't win this they've only got themselves to blame, they're by far the better team today though it pains me to say so.
kaffeemeister Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 0-0 Everton Liverpool, good result. No one moves in table due to this result.
Saints foreva Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Dull as **** but I bet it's still high in the MOTD pecking order tonight.

I suspect some of their fans will look at us and call us a 'loan' club.
angelman Posted 7 February, 2015 Posted 7 February, 2015 Dull as **** but I bet it's still high in the MOTD pecking order tonight. Of course it will be, it's the Merseyside derby. I guess it will be North London, Merseyside derbies, Villa/Chelsea, City/Hull, Swansea/Sunderland, QPR/Saints, Leic/Palace. Chelsea and City might be swithced, as might our game and the one at the KP.

Boys, I'm not saying this to embarrass you, I'm just trying to let you down in a nice way, before CB Fry gets in there... @BBCMOTD: #MOTD at 10.30pm: 1.Spurs/Arsenal, 2.Villa/Chelsea, 3.ManCity/Hull, 4.QPR/Saints, 5.Everton/Liverpool, 6.Leicester/Palace, 7.Swansea/S'land
Batman Posted 8 February, 2015 Author Posted 8 February, 2015 WBA equalise after being 2-0. Another 2 goal lead let go by burnley Ings scored and set one up mind
S-Clarke Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 WBA equalise after being 2-0. Another 2 goal lead let go by burnley Ings scored and set one up mind Man Utd Chelsea Liverpool Tottenham Arsenal in the next 8....! (and they also have ourselves and Everton away as well) If they don't win this, I think it's safe to confirm one of the relegation places.
shurlock Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 How have we taken only one point off this bunch so far this season?
Saint-Armstrong Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 FT: Newcastle 1-1 Stoke Colback put NUFC in front with 16 minutes left, Obertan messed up a straightforward chance and Stoke went down the other end and scored in the 89th minute through Crouch.
Dr Who? Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Think a West Ham win today and a hard game against the Mancs, would suit us for our midweek game as well.
Dr Who? Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Just noticed that the big lump is not playing... Huge blow for the Hammers.
Sour Mash Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Anyone else see the clip of Nigel Pearson clashing with the Palace player yesterday. Doesn't look like he's coping with the pressure too well.
Saint Charlie Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Just noticed that the big lump is not playing... Huge blow for the Hammers. If you mean Carroll then its good for them. Their best form has been with Valencia and Sakho up front. If its the same Wednesday then they will test our centre backs as much as any team has.
pap Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Just noticed that the big lump is not playing... Huge blow for the Hammers. Would you say it was a hammer blow?
Saint Charlie Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 West Ham the more threatening side. Especially from set plays.
saintmatt Posted 8 February, 2015 Posted 8 February, 2015 Anyone else see the clip of Nigel Pearson clashing with the Palace player yesterday. Doesn't look like he's coping with the pressure too well. Very odd indeed, as were his comments on incident after match.
