It's an Argentine thing, laying claim to things that don't belong to you.

Nicely put Hutch, to try and take what RK has achieved for Saints as his own, is nothing short of theft.

He obviously hates the fact that we are still above Spurs. It would not reflect well on him the way we sold £90mill worth of players and still improved on what he did.

We would be doing even better if he hadn't have wasted all that cash on Osvaldo, easily the worst signing in the club's history.

And in turn Adkins inherited a pretty decent squad from Pardew.

Which is utterly irrelevant to this discussion.

And we all agree that Adkins did far better with that squad than Pardew ever threatened to.

No, why?

Just wondering what the set up is - whether you have to be in the system or affiliated to an agency/paper, whether anyone can ask questions etc?

Well, my accreditation was sorted by the agency - so I'm not too sure. Just given a pass with a number on, that corresponded to my place on the list.

What were you doing away from your computer?

What if someone put up a wacky YouTube video to do with Saints?

Apart from being so wrong on a factual level, and even ignorant, it is a mind-numbingly stupid thing for Pochettino to say if he still has hopes of signing Schneiderlin.

I'm not sure anyone in the club would give Pochettino a spot if they had the measles.

(Pardew) ...who in turn had almost no squad at all to begin with, but bought (one)...Rickie Lambert. ......and Nigel Adkins bought Jay Rod, Steven Davis .....and Nathaniel Clyne

.....so you see Mauricio, everyone played their part, and you had the benefit of that, too.

I seem to recall, you inherited £100 million worth of players at Spuds ..How are they doing? (No!.. Harry Kane was already there).

Doing what?

Ha - Turkish ****ing hates Armstrong and has been absolutely mugged off by him here, thinking he was bull****ting. Made him look a right mug.

Touch.

No it's not. If you were in a bag on your own you'd pick a fight with yourself !

But it wouldn't seem that way to him.

Separate, demonic voices would be heard, pulling him this way and that.

If you take what is arguably Saints' strongest current line-up, 4 players were inherited by Pochettino from Adkins or earlier, one was recruited during Pochettino's 15 months in charge and 6 have been recruited under Koeman.

Players inherited when Pochettino arrived in Jan 2013 - Clyne, Fonte, Schneiderlin, Davis;

One player recruited during Pochettino's period - Wanyama

Players brought in under Koeman:- Forster, Alderweireld, Bertrand, Tadic, Mané, Pelle.

What did pass on to Koeman after Pochettino was the Southampton ethos but Pochettino didn't create that. He inherited it as do all Saints' managers.

Looks like Strongarms is on course to be the new Alex Crook

He's already mastered the tweeting breaking news an hour after it's been on twitter and then passing it off as his own.

Didn't Osvaldo join us under Pochettino? Is this now being airbrushed from history by Poch, in much the same way that we were not relegated under Redcrapp?

Pardew did a good job for us and we don't know how he would have progressed as he was kicked out before we could find out.

he wasn't playing though ;)

but of course, Mauricio took him out of the Spuds Academy ....and made him a star......all in the space of a few weeks :D.....(just as he did with JWP, and Shaw at SMS )... . WOW what a manager.

indeed he did.....and didn't he praise him up, too. A real marquee signing that was :mcinnes: ....one we'll never forget - no matter how hard we try.

I heartily hope that Spurs go on a dreadful run and that the tiresome Argentinean gets the full ire of their spoilt, loathsome fans, and then the boot from he-who-has-no-patience. Idiotic club run by tedious fockwits for pathetic, deluded fan base. Apart from that they're fine.

Probably the first real sign of Poch being a bit irked at our good form this season. Would have been a lot easier for him if we had faded away.

When was Villa Boas was sacked Spurs were 7th with 1.83 points per game , when Tim Sherwood was sacked they finished 6th with 1.82 ppg. Under Pochettino they are currently 6th with 1.74 points per game. Would be awful if something happened to him.
