pap Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 Did Frank Zappa inspire your choice of names for her No, she's no Moon Unit However, a degree of misdirection is probably worth having when not discussing yourself. I'm also doing her a disservice with the continual use of "Juvenile", but "young adult" reminds me too much of Nozin' Aroun', and not being able to drink in pubs.
Crazy Diamond Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 So Lou, how long have you worked for the police?
Crazy Diamond Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 omg No need to panic Mr. Bearsy, I'm only joking. It's the very matter-of-fact tone, sounds a bit police-like! I'll have a drink with you Lou. There. Anyone else brave enough?
Bucks Saint Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 No need to panic Mr. Bearsy, I'm only joking. It's the very matter-of-fact tone, sounds a bit police-like! I'll have a drink with you Lou. There. Anyone else brave enough? I will be there. But no need for a large dollop of bravery, given I have met Lou before (responding to a similar invite). I don't need to reinforce anything she has said, but anyone who can sink a half time pint in 4 minutes deserves respect

Coxford_lou Posted 9 February, 2015 Author Posted 9 February, 2015 So Lou, how long have you worked for the police? Oh wow, if you Google 'Coxford Lou', first search result is: http://www.police.uk/hampshire/1SN02/team/pc-lou-wright/ Now you're in trouble boys!! PS. That's not me, I promise.

My Dad taught me well...

Coxford_lou Posted 9 February, 2015 Author Posted 9 February, 2015 Blimey. That was one hell of a guess. Yeah why not. How will I recognise you? Or will you be in uniform? Good question. How is this thing going to work? Pap, can we have a pcture of you so we know who we're looking for? Bucks, I'll probably phone you and find you first if that's OK?
Coxford_lou Posted 9 February, 2015 Author Posted 9 February, 2015 That picture gives me the horn. Really good job that's not me then.

pap Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 I'm the long-haired mush, but bear in mind I've got the M6 to negotiate. You may wish to plan around a different man. http://instagram.com/paul.alan.taylor/

buctootim Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 The pub will be busy so you guys need to wear something no-one else will have on - like a Pompey shirt.
Coxford_lou Posted 9 February, 2015 Author Posted 9 February, 2015 Lou during half time at her last away game I love this photo!
buctootim Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 Lou during half time at her last away game At uni my flatmate had a girlfriend who put on makeup like that. See her in the morning barefaced and she was stunning. 30 minutes in the bathroom and Coco the family entertainer emerged.
Bucks Saint Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 The pub will be busy so you guys need to wear something no-one else will have on - like a Pompey shirt. Flowers in our hair? Better still, flowers in our curly red and white wigs. Sorted
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 I'm actually a little jealous. I'd be curious to have a pint and say hello to my fellow TSW dwellers in the flesh. Be nice to one another.
hypochondriac Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 I've met Turkish and Colbury before but they didn't know I was on here. Both nice blokes and pretty much how I imagined they would be.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 I've met Turkish and Colbury before but they didn't know I was on here. Both nice blokes and pretty much how I imagined they would be. I'd imagine most people are alright in person really.
hypochondriac Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 I'd imagine most people are alright in person really. I expect so. Would most likely get the odd nutter though, like the bloke who cut Keith's phone line and put superglue in his lock.
Turkish Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 I've met Turkish and Colbury before but they didn't know I was on here. Both nice blokes and pretty much how I imagined they would be. When was this?

Coxford_lou Posted 9 February, 2015 Author Posted 9 February, 2015 When was this? I think you've got a stalker...
Patrick Bateman Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 (edited) How did you know who they were if they didn't know you were on here?! You mean you don't introduce yourself to strangers by your forum name?? Edited 9 February, 2015 by Patrick Bateman
Bucks Saint Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 When was this? I understand it was 2007. And every 3 months since
Turkish Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 You mean you don't introduce yourself to strangers by your forum name?? People know who I am because its on the back of my shirt.
pap Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 People know who I am because its on the back of my shirt. I prefer to call you Prime Mark though. People get messed up about spelling, and the Irish pronounce it Pree-mark. I know. They're lovable.
hypochondriac Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 (edited) When was this? In a pub before a game about three years ago. I had a mate who knows who you are and you spoke to me about the team by the bar. can't remember the pub before you ask but it was in Bedford place. Edited 9 February, 2015 by hypochondriac
hypochondriac Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 Sorry?? Is this an old story from here? Must have pre-dated me, care to expand? Keith was the old administrator on S4E and he quit after a combination of the turnstile A saga and then one of the blokes who ran forever saints allegedly finding out where he lived and cutting his phone line. Scary stuff.

Coxford_lou Posted 9 February, 2015 Author Posted 9 February, 2015 I don't normally leave the house so obviously I'm very excited about meeting you all. Are you joining us adriansfc?!
hypochondriac Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 (edited) Eeesh, don't blame the bloke. That sounds grim. Amygate was funny though. For those who don't know, Keith was talking via PM for about six months to "Amy" who was actually just a couple of blokes on b-anter. They released the hugely embarrassing correspondence online and then **** hit the fan and the saints forever forum was no more. No one deserved the phone line rubbish to be fair (though I believe he still posted on the new forum as the grand poobah so it can't have put him off too much.) In all seriousness, I would be up for coming to the pub but unfortunately I'm out for dinner at The Turtle Bay before the game. If you do something similar in future then I'll try to make it. I'll definitely shake pap's hand despite our differences. Edited 9 February, 2015 by hypochondriac
Coxford_lou Posted 9 February, 2015 Author Posted 9 February, 2015 I'd love to but I'll be in Ruislip, with my laptop. Oh.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 I'd love to but I'll be in Ruislip, with my laptop. This is about to get weirder. Are you based in Ruislip? I grew up, and lived there until last summer.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 I am currently and tragically based at West Ruislip. Oh come on, it's not that bad
Coxford_lou Posted 9 February, 2015 Author Posted 9 February, 2015 Amygate was brilliant though. C'mon Hypo, tell us the story...
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 I always get a seat on the central line and I'm above dominoes so there are advantages. Haha, yeah that was always a benefit. No chance of that now I'm in Leyton. Happy to grab a drink next time I'm back over that way.
hypochondriac Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 C'mon Hypo, tell us the story... Explained above. Some of the PMs were painfully embarrassing. About turnstile "A", Sex in the woods and midway through just stopping whilst still inside and just cuddling etc. Think he got some heat in real life over it though so I won't dwell on it.

Just read that bout Amygate, wow. Sounds like I've missed all the best bits. Was here for BAP though, that was pretty great.

You missed the incredible site that was saintsfun though, Mark loves Amy, b-anter, tubgirl, montys turban, ascoli, the farmer, Saint lee and his leaky plumbing, Javi and Saf, arcade games and that old thread about hooliganism that ended up with the site being monitored by the old bill (in the form of the poster Roger Beeks). You missed out! Edited 9 February, 2015 by hypochondriac
hypochondriac Posted 9 February, 2015 Posted 9 February, 2015 A year or two ago a really hot girl called Amy started talking to me on a dating site. After Amygate I just couldn't accept it might be true. I remember a photo of you on board a ship. Is that still knocking around?

Poor bloke, I feel sorry for him. Ah, now I get the constant references to PMs, Turnstile A etc. Funny.
