New girl comes along and you guys have already forgotten about me. That hurts.

I think it's you he is enquiring about!!

He'is still undecided if it's Femme Fatale or Hairy Ar$ed Lorry Driver!!

Actually, what am I saying?! don't do it Pompeylass, it's a trap! They suck you in by insulting you, so you have to defend yourself, and kick some a*se back. Then next thing you know you're wasting hours of you life talking nonsense to a bunch of people you've never met, who are only really interested in finding out if you're hot or not, so you can be their porn replacement for 5 minutes, before they discard you and move onto the real thing in some Eastern European country.

Run while you can!!

That post by The Cat has really got to you!!

Yeah it did. You've got me sussed, Jonnyboy. I'm still getting my head around it. Don't mind me if I slowly figure it out via various passive aggressive comments. I'll get there in the end!

I'm going to Burnley home game and maybe Palace.... At least I know the pub to avoid! ;)

You wouldn't have said that if you didn't want to be persuaded otherwise :)

Have you been climbing yet Dr? I went tonight, and its f*cking intense!

Nearer the Burnley game I'll be working on you. I'm pretty persuasive when I want to be ;)

Halo, this post made me very sad.

Sorry, Goat, I didn't mean to make anyone sad with that post.

Most of the time, I'm quite happy with my own company, or indeed, with that of Mrs Stickman :):) – little other option really :(:( – although I'd be lying if I said I didn't occasionally reflect wistfully on former times following Saints home and away with a group of mates who I've since either lost touch with, or who no longer attend matches themselves.

But, hey, as my mother-in-law always said: 'worse things happen at sea.' :?

You have to bear in mind, 10 years ago many of us men were mere boy-men, very immature and easily excited. I can't speak for The Cat though but I believe he's in his thirties.

I met a load of posters from here when I played in a couple of the Saintsweb vs other teans forum matches. And have to say in the majority most were perfectly normal, if atleast not as good looking or as good on the pitch as me ;)

There certainly wasnt anyone in attendance that I would say was a complete fruitloop tbh.

Except Granty, obvs.

I'm clinging on to them. Bucharest was solidly in my mid 20's, hence the visits to various establishments and out of control alcohol consumption. If I went now I'd be grumbling about the lack of ale and worrying about my feet getting cold.

I decided to sign up for SaintsForever initially based on that week I spent in Bucharest not knowing anyone at a time when I'd got bored of my home town, aged 30.

I started coming down on weekends when Saints were home, stayed to play SaintsForever Sunday footy and in the Saints Forever v Pompey Online matches (played myself into contention by doing a 4 hour return journey one Sunday, was demanding my shirt number by week 2, lol), then there was that Saints Forever meet up in the Eagle, occasional waking up on random sofas, deciding to move down permanently, that thing with the ex-forum member where we got together, then split up every fortnight for about a year then bought a house together as the economy collapsed before going separate ways, and now I'm married to a ST holder and I don't have to talk to you lot any more. :D

sounds like PompeyLass is looking for a parternity suit

which is normal for her neck of the woods.

Is that like paternity ?

LOL .... what were the chances of that happening ........ getting pulled up by the only member of The Blue Few who can spell :mcinnes:

Good comeback PL.

LOL. I'm not being judgey, I promise! Just a whole different world to my life experiences...which makes it an eye opener.

A 657 Crew tattoo? That or a portrait of Fred Dinenage would look great.

Nice work!

At least you reallocated your funds properly and didn't just magic up money out of thin air like your football club may have done ... :)

Stu and his lawyer needs to be in there I feel.

Good to see you back on here Pompeylass, has it really been 8 years...? :( Time goes too fast.

Lou, there used to be a fair few Pompey fans on here. They were easily identifiable by the fish underneath their usernames back then.

We're in Old Farmhouse before and after every game. Big garden, doesn't get too rammed and they do a decent brekkie.

We've done the Chapel (alright, but packed) and King Alfred (shíte, and packed). I suggest Farmhouse for a venue, largely because I'm lazy but also because I've tried other places and the Old Farmhouse is genuinely suitable for a bunch of randoms to meet up at. It also has a "massive rear, with play areas and hot spots". Their words, not mine.

Is this the Old Farmhouse that was on Immigration Street ??

Aye, but most of the clientele are committed White British drinkers.

Re-reading this thread, boy I got a lot of stick. All your in-jokes I didn't get at the time. Harsh.

Thinking about whether or not to do this again. Is anyone interested? Will there be gang? Are we capable of being nice?
