Club NOT appealing red card

This is going to be a dull thread unless someone can fake a bit of outrage to get it going. Roger?

Ok

Disgusting decision. Epitomises the lack of backbone of the board. Its little decisions like this that undermine their credibility in the eyes of the FA, fans and the football world in general. How will they manage to persuade Toby, Ryan and Clyne to sign deals if we are being run by a bunch of spineless chancers. Joke club.

Good effort. You need to question the footballing nouse of other posters in a condescending and insulting fashion and you'll have it in the bag.

What has annoyed me even more is that earlier on when Barrow clattered him with the ball yards away he didn't even get a booking!! And that after his spat right in front of the assistant ref! No justice whatsoever!! JUSTICE FOR RYAN NOW

Now we're talking.

I thought it was a 50/50 live but on MoTD they slow mo'd it and said Ryan looked at Barrow then slowed down to ensure he made contact ! he did look at Barrow but then looked at the ball . They also showed earlier spats and deemed it premeditated so not much chance of an appeal. Rumour has it Barrow was OK so stretcher may have been part of the con !!

Hey guys, sorry to derail this thread, but was talking to my mate down the pub and he reckoned that Glenn Hoddle would have joined the club post-Strachan in 2004 were it not for a vocal minority hounding him out. Is this true? Disgusting if so, Glenn Hoddle would not have taken us down and made us endure the nightmare of those sh!tty lower leagues for years, which we are only just recovering from now.

Those people should hang their heads in shame! :hunt:

Not sure where you get that from . In my opinion it wasn't premeditated

As they said on sky sports last night he could of got to that ball quicker but had a scuffle with the player prior to that so he waited to give him a bump , saying that Monk said it wasn't a red and the lad will be fine was more in shock at the tackle!

It looked it to me. He seemed to flick out with his leading leg before connecting and caught him behind his knee with his trailing leg. Horrible tackle and deserved a red.
