We don't play with creativity through the middle

Which is why, when our crossing is poor or we're up against a dominant CB, we can look utterly toothless despite Davis, and Fonte popping the ball back and forth for upwards of 60% possession.

And now the speculation starts with lazy Journo's creating all sorts of s.h.y.t.e about 'moves' just to fill out their columns.

Anyone for Danny Ings to Manure folks? Well he's not in Spain like what they all said yesterday eh?

Good business. Not Champions League business, but good business nonetheless. Pleased about Bertrand but hope the Serb can contribute a few goals...

I thought it was reported as Ings signing a pre-contract deal with Real Soc. No idea if its true, have my doubts, but it would mean he joins them on 1 July, not now

That's the point Buckie. It hasn't been confirmed but the Journo's made it a headline for almost two weeks.

Source seems to be L'Equipe who seem to be getting wilder and wilder in their transfer "news" and less and less accurate. They used to get most of it spot on, now they've caught Sunitis and just dish out populist crap. Only a few months back they were saying that Saints knocked back a bid of 34 million €s on the last transfer deadline day. They're being fed crap by all and sundry now and more is the pity. For instance they're reporting the transfer fee for Bertrand today at 15 million euros or about 12 million £ whereas it seems to be about 9 million £.

So, who's strengthened the most during the transfer window? Personally, I think Saints have done well to get Elia (who looks very good), whilst signing Bertrand permanently. Djurcic(?) looks like he has potential, but probably wont be a starter ahead of Mane and Elia (and Tadic, although he's been off the boil recently). Hopefully likes a shot at goal!

Looks like Palace have signed a few decent players, but seem to be going for quantity rather than quality with a few of them (Shola Ameobi?!). Not sure they have the money to be signing loads of players as never really sell anyone (bar the now re-signed Zaha) for much money...

Chelsea's new winger Cuadrado was good in the World Cup and comes with a good reputation (which you'd expect for the price), but got feel like they never gave Schurrle much of a chance.

Delle Alli great signing for the future for Spurs, but wont help them this season as back at MK.

Hopefully the new non English speaking centre back for Arsenal has a few nightmare games whilst he settles in.

As we know, Swansea have just signed a very tidy midfielder.
