Villa dont need another striker, they have two with enough quality, three if Weimann finds form again. Thet need new management and new ideas

No way. Even with a poor manager your strikers should hit more goals at this level than they have been... one of the worst teams in Europe.

What Pelle have you been watching?

Over the last few games I've counted the amount of balls Pelle received and then lost immediately due to a poor first touch. Its around 70%. He chests it down accurately though!

Don't get me wrong. I think he is a super player overall. Just feel that we need another striker to take the pressure off him a little.

I think this post proves that 64% of stats are either wrong or made up.

Just listened to sky sports news.

Djuricic is basically done, only paperwork left, but Mainz has already announced it on website.

No one will be leaving this window, mentioning the names of Clyne, Morgan and Jay rodriguez.

Also spoke about djuricic, saying he was compared to players like eriksen and strootman, and then goes on to say 'if anyone fan get him firing, koeman can'

Can't believe Liverpool will make a profit on him. Gutted. Bet we didn't put in a sell on clause!

Good luck to him. Villa are desperate and it might just be the buy of the season and keep them up. Wish he was coming home though.

Its been turned down and denied happening several times why are you posting like its a done deal?

Good to see the next crop of first teamers doing well.....

Clearly we didn't need to add to the squad...

And Sam Gallagher's back.

Why don't we need him? We lack creativity and a killer final ball, this lad might provide the answer.

Wanyama, Schneiderlin and Reed - we're pretty well set for defensive midfielders still.

I don't think we lack creativity or a killer final ball - with Tadic, Mane, Davis, and Elia we have different types of player who play in the same position as this new chap, who eerily appears to have the same qualities as a footballer as the man we decided wasn't good enough for us at the start of the season and we shipped him off to Hull. We don't play with creativity through the middle, I don't see where he has a natural home in our formation either.

I am sure there is a plan, I just don't see the need for this sort of signing when we need a striker - desperately.
