Bearsy Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 Maybe, but I need him in my squad, Cellone, for his Running and Nuisance Factor
Saint_Ash Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 Palace resigning Zaha on a permanent is a decent bit of business.

Convict Colony Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 The best thing about signing all these ex dutch league players is the music on their youtubes. Based purely on what I have seen in the aforementioned video's he is pretty rapid (would guess 2nd fastest behind elia among our forwards, seems to have really good acceleration than top speed) and knows there the goal is, he will shoot if in a good position instead of doing a Dusan. Think Elia has proved that if the coach doesn't utilise you to your strengths then you can go missing in foreign leagues, am hopeful Ron knows how to utilise him.
Bearsy Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 Elia and Djuricic seems like a good window. I give +1 for Elia in, and -1 for Jack Cork out. This Djerky bro I'm not sure about, so I will score him Evens, and call it Evens Stevens for window

Saint-Armstrong Posted 2 February, 2015 Author Posted 2 February, 2015 John Percy of the Telegraph: Could be some late activity at #avfc with a bid to sign #lfc striker Rickie Lambert. Deal would be permanent if agreed with player & club
DT Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 John Percy of the Telegraph: Could be some late activity at #avfc with a bid to sign #lfc striker Rickie Lambert. Deal would be permanent if agreed with player & club He only likes him because he's another Lambert. Maybe it's his son.

Deal would be permanent if agreed with player & club Bet Liverpool will make a profit if he does go, which will **** me off. Don't know why, but it will.

VectisSaint Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 I said there is no guarantee. Have you forgotten when Arry spent £6m on a bunch of rubbish and we finished bottom? Thankfully saggy chops is not in charge of transfers nowadays. So at least there is a chance that any transfers will have an impact.

Viking Saint Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 QPR back in for Osvaldo. Kind of hope he goes there. Wouldnt be able to play vs us and would be funny to see how long he sticks around for. maybe he could stick one on Sackface while he's there, do us all a favour.....
cellone Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 maybe he could stick one on Sackface while he's there, do us all a favour..... I'd be happy to welcome him back if he did that!
Convict Colony Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 (edited) Reading through the Heerenveen forum from his successful time there they seem to suggest he is comparable to Eriksen and they were talking him up as a replacement for Mario Goetze at Dortmund and whilst not a Real Madrid esq calibre of player he would do an excellent job in the 2nd rank of european clubs. Am wondering if we are doing a chelsea and instead of buying everyone young we are just buying everyone with a left foot They are loving Koeman on the last page of this thread now its been announced on Mainz "Hence the shires cock of Van Gaal last summer!" not too sure google translate got that right http://sc.heerenveen.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=4174&start=1890 Edited 2 February, 2015 by Convict Colony

Bearsy Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 Am wondering if we are doing a chelsea and instead of buying everyone young we are just buying everyone with a left foot Left wing is deffo a problem! Alright, we've got Elia and Tadic and Mane and Rodriguez and Isgrove and Djuricic, but beyond that there doesn't seem to be much strength in depth. I don't want to get in situation where we have to play Bertrand there again. Can Long do a job on the left? Or if not someone from the youth? Josh Sims?

Well played everyone involved.
SNSUN Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 I've previously said I wouldn't want us re-signing Rickie, but I reverse that. He's still a legend and can still do a job for us, but is highly doubt he will come back anyway. Will be a good signing for Villa, but I reckon he'll stay put at Liverpool. Would be nice to get another surprise in before the window shuts.
Saint-Armstrong Posted 2 February, 2015 Author Posted 2 February, 2015 If that's true, he sounds much more a number 10 type than a wide player, and it's EXACTLY what we need. Well played everyone involved. He is definitely a #10 type.

Well played everyone involved. under current of comments were that he doesn't really track back he just full on attack so maybe the impact sub for Davis or Pelle for the remainder of the season, he seems tall enough to play the full CF role.

Convict Colony Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 Loving our Sky sports reporter, I've been had the tv on all afternoon and according to him since about 1pm today we have been very very close to confirming it every time they go to him the poor sod. He did have an "exclusive" that Southampton WOULDN'T be buying Tonny V today which must of been some next level soothsaying ****.

RedWillie Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 Birmingham have rejected an improved £5m bid from Championship rivals AFC Bournemouth for teenage winger Demarai Gray. WTF .?? where they getting their money from? They only have gates of 8-9 k (home fans) Another PFC on the horizon?

SaintRobbie Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 Come home Rickie...be a great alternative to Pelle. Agree - and unlike Pelle he can hold a ball up. (Although he is pretty damned good in lots of other ways!) Please sign him back!
DT Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 Lambert to Villa. Seriously? £5.5m? So much for ending at boyhood dream club etc
SaintRobbie Posted 2 February, 2015 Posted 2 February, 2015 Lambert to Villa. Seriously? £5.5m? So much for ending at boyhood dream club etc Can't believe Liverpool will make a profit on him. Gutted. Bet we didn't put in a sell on clause! Good luck to him. Villa are desperate and it might just be the buy of the season and keep them up. Wish he was coming home though.

Villa dont need another striker, they have two with enough quality, three if Weimann finds form again. Thet need new management and new ideas
