What injury has he had? It's all very hush hush.

He's had a couple of operations on his knee, so I would assume it's something with that. Don't think it's been officially clarified but tbf the lad's had a tough year with his Dad passing so I don't think we'd put too much pressure on him.

Ahh okay cheers, didn't know about the knee ops. Add to that his dad passing away and it's been a tough year for the lad.

Makes sense that we're not in for another striker, however I wouldn't like to have to rely on him for a long period if Pelle got injured.

Depends....as things stand, we've still got more than a good chance of finishing in CL positions. If we didn't, and being safe, I would definitely advocate bedding in what we already have. I am not sure about others, but he didn't look like he had a killer touch last season. But what do I know? The Club were happy to offer him a contract so obviously see/know more than I do.

Yeah because it only takes missing one game to completely get over the death of your father doesn't it.

Clearly not what i meant. My point was that he was alright to play towards the end of last season and put in decent performances, it doesn't add up that he would miss almost an entire season now because of it. He was injured, that's all.

@SouthamptonFC: #SaintsFCU21s' @JakeHesketh forces it home after Josh Sims had prodded past Beeney, though it may already have crossed the line. [5-2]

And you have clearly missed my point. Grief affects different people in different ways, and often with a delayed effect. Just because he was able to play in the short term after his bereavement, doesn't mean it can't still be affecting him mentally.
