Are you for real or can you not read? I have not denied using the word muppet but pointed out to you where it came from in the first place. It started out in post 22 (someone not in your bracket of fanbase), then Fan the flames responded (someone you can identify with) and I responded accordingly but you still find it difficult to go back to the original post. If it is possible please go back to the start of this thread and read right through then come back and identify who called who a muppet. As for your original point Planet earth has many things to think about rather than someone called Lowe just like this forum, if you think that this forum is all ond only about Lowe then you are on the wrong forum.

Are you f**king self-aware ? You denied it in post #42. Your ****ing around with words getting too complex now ???

PMSL!!

Were you still "celebrating" christmas last night by any chance? Hic!

"I have not denied using the word muppet" versus your post no 36 "as for the phrase muppet, please enlighten me when I used that term".

I have enlightened you as you have requested. Perhaps you will now admit that you were wrong!!

I repeat again, read the whole thread and come back and tell me who posted the 'muppet' quote, if that is possible for you to do that you will find I used the term to highlight the original poster's quote on the subject and not my view, but it seems you cannot comprehend this issue.

You really are a pathetic, pedantic wind-up merchant. Of course, its the only way for your limited intellect to divert attention away from your indefensible Luvviness.........

Pedantic maybe but this highlights the issue being discussed, still someone with a limited mindscale cannot grasp the facts, I used the word from a previous poster to highlight that post, it was no way used by myself in the derogatory version as you quote but your limited intellect cannot grasp that as featured by your response to post 42. If ****ing around with words is too complex for you then please read in this order, post 22 followed by 34 then 36, someone with a sound piece of mind will be able to grasp where the term originated and my post was merely to highlight the "response" by the originator

The fans certainly made a difference and the players responded accordingly. Not really surprising.

Shame that the Reading fans outsung us for most of the game. I've stood in the Northam only once this season and noticed that a lot of the old faces have gone - a lot of the lads (myself included) that would instigate the Lowe out songs and a lot of the pro-saints chants - that's why I think it's quieter. Also feel that the Itchen corner has been a real loss in terms of saints crowd volume.

The Reading fans did make a bit of noise a couple of times but I thought overall they were quite poor, they came alive when they scored which is quite expected but we outsung them for most of the game. The several slow renditions of OWTS was good.

An attachment personified by Surman and Lallana who are about to leave ?

Oh............

So having an attachment to the club mean they are not allowed to improve themselves!!!!! Why did you move to Austria, dont you have any attachment to Southampton? Or was it you wanted to get the best for your future and family.

But for the last couple of months of my WORK whilst working my notice I was not interested and my performance was below par.

Thanks for proving my point..;)

I think this is telling. I also agree wholeheartedly with you that Lowe's removal of the Itchen corner was a major mistake with regards to supporting the team.

Just as the Itchen was starting to get going he closes it. Couldve taken a chunk out of the Chapel to be honest and have the same financial impact. Real shame that as I enjoyed the Itchen.

your point being you were a disloyal and ungrateful employee I suppose. What point could it be otherwise? The players mentioned by you have an attachment to the club and would give their all whether they were leaving or not.

I dont even know how to respond to such a post. It's either so pious or so naiive that it almost fails to register...

so you would like to think...
Put it this way DD, I know if I played for Saints and knew i was leaving I still would give my everything while playing for us.Surman especially and lallana I believe would do the same. Whether you and Alpine would I cant say, but I expect you both would as you are Saints supporters as well.

I would never leave in the first place. I would be like MLT, playing for the team I love, and would be satisified provided I was being supplied with sufficient income to support my family comfortably.

Like me then, but after me enabling the club to win the European cup after running away with the PL titile with my goalscoring feats for 5 years running i might then leave as RL and his cohorts had made too much money from my superhuman exploits. i would then perhaps then join Man u to help them back into the Pl.

MLT was playing in the best league in the world when he was at saints, it is much different to fighting relegation from the championship.

Would you really have that little ambition? I'm sure they want to achieve much more from their careers eg. fa cup winners, maybe play in eufa cup and represent their country at senior level. If they had as little ambition as you I doubt they would have ever made pro footballers.

In my opinion your previous postings on this thread have been pedantic rubbish. You backtrack quicker than an Italian tank driiver & certainly hold strange views.

HOWEVER

I do agree entirely with what you say above. There were more Reading fans in their enclosure than Saints fans in the Northam yet apart from one or two occasions they were completely outsung by the Northam. We outsung them at the Mad Stad and they were outsung at SMS.

The Crowd were behind the team, because the team gave us some passion and commitment and something tangilbe to get behind. If we had started badly and gone a goal behind, I don't think the support would have been the same.

It just goes to show, that if the team want our support, then prove you deserve it and we will chear you on.

Here, here.

When you read things like the above (Lowe laughing at the fans?) it does make you wonder what goes through people's heads.

Perhaps the FACT you are an innernet supporter, i.e you don't spend any money SUPPORTING the club, means the gross incompetences of Lowe don't affect you as much as most. If you're not spending £100 plus every week it's easy to be nonchelont about Lowes role in the destruction of the club both as a business and as a comunity institution. Personally i think if you went a little bit more your views would be more in line with the fanbase and your outlook not so akin to someone looking in from the outside.

How about :

The fact that Lowe appeared to take great pleasure in winding up and sabotaging any discussion of significance at the AGM translates into him taking great pleasure at a "divide and conquer" tactic paying off with the fan-base ?
