Jack Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Not many all prem clashes so we'll be hoping for some upsets. Despite how we're going in the league, I'd love a cup run, as long as we can avoid replays I think we'll be fine. Friday: Cambridge v Man Utd 19:55 Saturday Blackburn v Swansea 12:45 Birmingham v West Brom 15:00 Cardiff v Reading 15:00 Chelsea v Bradford 15:00 Derby v Chesterfield 15:00 Man City v Middlesbrough 15:00 Preston v Sheff Utd 15:00 Southampton v Crystal Palace 15:00 Sunderland v Fulham 15:00 Tottenham v Leicester 15:00 Liverpool v Bolton 17:30 Sunday Bristol City v West Ham 14:00 Aston Villa v Bournemouth 15:00 Brighton v Arsenal 16:00 Monday Rochdale v Stoke 20:00
stevegrant Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Difficult to see any upsets there, really. Not even sure Bournemouth winning at Villa would even qualify as an upset, 12 goals in all competitions this season vs 73 There could be 13 Premier League teams in the last 16, with 3 guaranteed Football League clubs, one of which must come from League One (Preston v Sheffield United). Not sure anybody would fancy drawing the latter, mind you...
Jack Posted 23 January, 2015 Author Posted 23 January, 2015 Hard to see any, but there's always at least one. Accumulators are a nightmare with the cup games.
Saint_Ash Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Done an acca for this for a whole massive quid to win £1800 Friday: Cambridge v Man Utd 19:55 Saturday Blackburn v Swansea 12:45 Cardiff v Reading 15:00 Chelsea v Bradford 15:00 Derby v Chesterfield 15:00 Man City v Middlesbrough 15:00 Preston v Sheff Utd 15:00 Southampton v Crystal Palace 15:00 Sunderland v Fulham 15:00 Tottenham v Leicester 15:00 Liverpool v Bolton 17:30 Sunday Aston Villa v Bournemouth 15:00 Brighton v Arsenal 16:00
hasper57saint Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 There's one small consolation this weekend we won't have to listen to Townsend or Child's as they've both left ITV.
Lorne Malvo Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Done an acca for this for a whole massive quid to win £1800 Friday: Cambridge v Man Utd 19:55 Saturday Blackburn v Swansea 12:45 Cardiff v Reading 15:00 Chelsea v Bradford 15:00 Derby v Chesterfield 15:00 Man City v Middlesbrough 15:00 Preston v Sheff Utd 15:00 Southampton v Crystal Palace 15:00 Sunderland v Fulham 15:00 Tottenham v Leicester 15:00 Liverpool v Bolton 17:30 Sunday Aston Villa v Bournemouth 15:00 Brighton v Arsenal 16:00 Not one draw? Can't see it.
Saint_Ash Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Neither can I, half of them will probably draw!
buctootim Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Not one draw? Can't see it. Neither can I, half of them will probably draw! Im pretty sure thats why he's getting odds of 1,800:1 as opposed to evens.
Lorne Malvo Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Im pretty sure thats why he's getting odds of 1,800:1 as opposed to evens. Yeah probably.
Appy Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 There's one small consolation this weekend we won't have to listen to Townsend or Child's as they've both left ITV. And because The FA Cup isn't on ITV anymore too.
Saint_Ash Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 There's one small consolation this weekend we won't have to listen to Townsend or Child's as they've both left ITV.Large consolation!
Saint_Ash Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Im pretty sure thats why he's getting odds of 1,800:1 as opposed to evens. I can't bring myself to sit on the fence and pick a draw. Prob why I've never won.

angelman Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Utd put out a pretty ****ing strong side to play against Cambs.
Jimmy_D Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Utd put out a pretty ****ing strong side to play against Cambs. And yet are getting slapped around silly by them at the moment.

Patrick Bateman Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Utd put out a pretty ****ing strong side to play against Cambs. And look like a bunch of melts afraid to play on a cold Friday night in a turd little ground.
Jack Posted 23 January, 2015 Author Posted 23 January, 2015 United have been ****e, completely devoid of ideas. Really hope Cambridge cause an upset.
Patrick Bateman Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Right, I've done a quick tenner on Cambridge at 12/1 ... now watch Man Utd perform a masterclass of total football ...
doddisalegend Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 How are man U 4th in the PL? They look so poor in almost every game and play really slow uninspiring football.
Jack Posted 23 January, 2015 Author Posted 23 January, 2015 Come on Cambridge! Brilliant effort, would love it if they found a winner.
Jimmy_D Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Really does feel like Man Utd are the team in the top four in a false position
Baird of the land Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Another midweek game for United then.
Patrick Bateman Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Right, I've done a quick tenner on Cambridge at 12/1 ... now watch Man Utd perform a masterclass of total football ... Damn it. haha
Batman Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Why is it, apart from the likes of talksport, most can see that LVG is doing a bang average job at best
Patrick Bateman Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Why is it, apart from the likes Of talksport, most can see that LVG is doing a bang average job at best To be fair, they are still 4th. The league table doesn't lie, right? Hence why we're 3rd It is a seriously average league this year and he's got some absolutely world class players who can turn it on and have turned it on, when needed. Yes he is not a Fergie, but they are also still in the CL positions, something which Moyes wasn't going to achieve.
S-Clarke Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Why is it, apart from the likes Of talksport, most can see that LVG is doing a bang average job at best I believe they're at exactly the same points level as Moyes was at this stage last season. Yet LVG has had a fortune to spend, Falcao, Di Maria, Blind, Shaw, Rojo, Herrera. They should be doing a hell of a lot better! I think he's failed so far, but good for us as they look dodgy as hell.
John Boy Saint Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Another midweek game for United then. cambridge will be a foreign team to them so it will be like a 2 leg European tie
Patrick Bateman Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Why is it, apart from the likes Of talksport, most can see that LVG is doing a bang average job at best Although I do like this new excuse ... "transition period". Rodgers and Van Gaal have now both used it. If this is Saints "transition period" with our new players, then next season we'll be winning the league, right?
saintquin Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Claridge not happy with his introduction on 5live! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02hjmrm
Jimmy_D Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Claridge not happy with his introduction on 5live! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02hjmrm That went well.
scotty Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Claridge not happy with his introduction on 5live! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02hjmrm  Claridge, what an arsehole.
Batman Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 It's just bizarre what LvG is doing. Just some odd team selections and formations. Just really odd
Saint_Ash Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Done an acca for this for a whole massive quid to win £1800 Friday: Cambridge v Man Utd 19:55 Saturday Blackburn v Swansea 12:45 Cardiff v Reading 15:00 Chelsea v Bradford 15:00 Derby v Chesterfield 15:00 Man City v Middlesbrough 15:00 Preston v Sheff Utd 15:00 Southampton v Crystal Palace 15:00 Sunderland v Fulham 15:00 Tottenham v Leicester 15:00 Liverpool v Bolton 17:30 Sunday Aston Villa v Bournemouth 15:00 Brighton v Arsenal 16:00 love it. Lost on the first one. United really are shiit. van gaal was massively arrogant before the match as well. As usual. Priick!
Patrick Bateman Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015  Claridge, what an arsehole. No, not really, he's spot on.
cellone Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 No, not really, he's spot on. is most of the time.
Batman Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Did you all know that the cup final date this season is shared with the birthday of Steven gerrard. Don't know of it has been mentioned on telly or anything
Dr Who? Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 How are man U 4th in the PL? They look so poor in almost every game and play really slow uninspiring football. We were shocking against a Sheffield United side in the cup. Just the way it goes. United will run out 4/5-0 winners at OT.
scotty Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 No, not really, he's spot on. What, on that clip?? You must be kidding, he made an utter prat of himself.
Turkish Posted 23 January, 2015 Posted 23 January, 2015 Another midweek game for United then. I expect Man United fans are all over the Red Cafe forum indignant that they'd rather have lost than have this extra game.
Rut Posted 24 January, 2015 Posted 24 January, 2015 We were shocking against a Sheffield United side in the cup. Just the way it goes. United will run out 4/5-0 winners at OT. Both teams are called 'United'. So are tons of others. This ain't a Man Utd forum. Just saying...
lickierambert Posted 24 January, 2015 Posted 24 January, 2015 Absolute screamer from Sigurdsson. Blackburn 1 Swansea 1 but where are all the fans?
Saint_clark Posted 24 January, 2015 Posted 24 January, 2015 Absolute screamer from Sigurdsson. Blackburn 1 Swansea 1 but where are all the fans? Tickets £20, not too expensive but not cheap enough for what it is.
the_emu Posted 24 January, 2015 Posted 24 January, 2015 Tickets £20, not too expensive but not cheap enough for what it is. Just stressed the point on sky sport total attendance at Ewood only a little over 5k. Disgraceful considering we took that many to the Emirates for a league cup.
