Hi there. Was just wondering what pubs are for away fans on Saturday etc. are there many near Southampton Central station? Thanks.

Just one of the several away ground guides for you:

Yates / Slug are about 8 mins walk from the station, on the way to the ground, and hence are the most popular, but you need to allow another 15 to get there. Ocean Village is further from the station but nearer to the ground, if you arrive earlier and fancy somewhere nicer / less rammed

If you are coming on the train you could do a lot worse than getting off at st denys (last stop before central) and have a pint in the dolphin, south western or junction. We're a pretty friendly bunch.

Thanks for the replies chaps. Also can anyone find a detailed seating map of the away end? I'm row LL is that nearer the front or back? Cheers.

'LL' is about 3 rows from the back. You'll be bunged in Yates' (if you're not careful) as it's the designated away fans pub, they'll even stick red & blue balloons up for you. If you slip away, the OB have a high presence around there, you'll find a few others that will be mixed but generally OK in that area.

As mentioned before, A is at the front, LL is just before the top/back.

I didn't say they'd score one each did I? :?

Seriously though I do like ST Mary's but haven't been in a very long time. When I was a child actually. I look forward to visiting. Thanks again for the help. Up the Palace

Hopefully Brighton next round. I must say St Mary's is impressive and the stewards very helpful. And thanks to the Southampton fan to our left going mental after our first equaliser. Had us laughing for ages.

Don't be shy now you're on the forum SLB. Always good to hear from other team's fans.

We even let a few Pompey on here.
