Junior Mullet Posted 23 January, 2015 Share Posted 23 January, 2015 Teams fighting relegation can be harder to beat than top teams Except when a draw isn't good enough for them and they come to Saint Marys and open up rather than parking the bus. I wonder if we will see a team with both Mane and Elia feeding off of Pelle knock-downs this season. That could be exciting!

Whitey Grandad Posted 23 January, 2015 Share Posted 23 January, 2015 This has to be a myth, surely? You would have to think so. If they were harder to beat they wouldn't be fighting relegation.
L_O_Z Posted 1 February, 2015 Share Posted 1 February, 2015 This has to be a myth, surely?I've got no facts to say either way, it just seems like teams fighting relegation at the end of the season treat every match like a cup game. You would have to think so. If they were harder to beat they wouldn't be fighting relegation. I don't mean throughout the season, I mean towards the end. Didn't Sunderland pull off an escape act last season? Thought they were the first prem team to beat Mourinhos Chelsea at the bridge? Although I could be getting confused?
