Unbelievable Jeff Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Gone missing apparently, hasn't been seen by International for 48 hrs, courtesy of Tancredi Palmeri: @tancredipalmeri Osvaldo went missing: in last 48hours the forward hasn't showed up at Inter camp and nobody knows where he is at the moment. Johnnydeppesque
Saint Charlie Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Will be great if he rocks up at QPR. What a moron this guy is.
Badger Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Will be great if he rocks up at QPR. What a moron this guy is. In a Range Rover after dark, and their offices are closed.....without his current club knowing anything about it. Couldn't happen again could it ?
farawaysaint Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 What the everloving feck is wrong with this clown? We are going to get nothing for him, must be our worst buy ever.
a1ex2001 Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Will be playing for River in Argentina within 12 months which I think is what he wants, such a waste of what is obviously a real talent.
Saint_clark Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Well first and foremost i hope he's ok and hasn't got himself hurt somehow.
CB Saint Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 He is one of those players where the agent will actually have to earn their corn. Given that I have in my own mind written off the money, i am beginning to find myself chuckling every time he has a brainfart.
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 21 January, 2015 Author Posted 21 January, 2015 Surely we can sue him for breaking contract conditions, and diminishing his value (a la Adrian Mutu)?
Coxford_lou Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Thanks Pochettino. Still, hope he's OK. They guy needs some help.
Secret Site Agent Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 I think we should just GIVE HIM away to Spurs. I did wonder if Roko could redeem him, but alas it seems not. Unless, of course, he has seen my post and though, 'Fark me. That big bloke in the balaclava and hard hat may have something here. I'm off back to see if some Dutch love can tame by wicked, wild ways.' I'm more delusional than an Man Utd fan who thinks they are third as Saints don't count.
S-Clarke Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Why does he obviously feel so highly of himself? He's obviously kicked off as he's been dropped from the Inter squad, but no surprise really. I think he's a **** player, really. Good touch, maybe, but not very good. Most players who think they're the bees knees are actually rather **** anyway.
doddisalegend Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Fonte last seen in Milan talking with this guy....
a1ex2001 Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Why does he obviously feel so highly of himself? He's obviously kicked off as he's been dropped from the Inter squad, but no surprise really. I think he's a **** player, really. Good touch, maybe, but not very good. Most players who think they're the bees knees are actually rather **** anyway. So bad he's an Italian international and has played for some of the biggest clubs in Italy? Pull the other one he is clearly a quality footballer sadly his head is a mess, one day he will realise he has blown the dream but it appears not yet. If he ever comes back we need a song about him being the white Ballotelli like Sheffield Wednesday used to sing about Gerald Sibon (Ironic: 'Kanu is the white Sibon' as Sibon was so oftn compared to Kanu)
Ulrich van Gobbel Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 If he does sign for QPR, he's nailed on to score against us next month!
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 If he does sign for QPR, he's nailed on to score against us next month! Not if they take him on loan.
Badger Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 If he does sign for QPR, he's nailed on to score against us next month! Fonte will mark him out of the game. Interesting. (But as KelvinsRightGlove says - he'll probably be on loan to them).
sadoldgit Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Well first and foremost i hope he's ok and hasn't got himself hurt somehow. Or hurt anyone else...
angelman Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/01/21/southampton-outcast-dani-osvaldo-missing-for-48-hours/ Despite a clear message that he intends to leave Inter, the report also suggests that Osvaldo has turned down all the offers presented to him so far, with him only willing to move to a top Italian or Premier League club. Well discounting us as a top PL club, he is truly mad if he thinks anyone would take him.
angelman Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 If he does sign for QPR, he's nailed on to score against us next month! http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/01/21/report-qpr-considering-loan-move-for-dani-osvaldo/ It would seemingly be a loan so he wouldn't be able to play against us.
Patrick Bateman Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 If he does sign for QPR, he's nailed on to score against us next month! He'll be a 'trffic signing as he's a 'trffic lad and a bargain who'll fit right into the hard working squad with no problems. 'trffic.
VectisSaint Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 I guess his "disappearance" could be due to him going to Southampton to try to resolve things. After all we do still actually hold his registration, i.e. he's still our problem. Anyone at Eastleigh monitoring arrivals?
david in sweden Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 He'll be a 'trffic signing as he's a 'trffic lad and a bargain who'll fit right into the hard working squad with no problems. 'trffic. another brilliant piece of negotiation, 'arry :lol:hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
The9 Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/01/21/report-qpr-considering-loan-move-for-dani-osvaldo/ It would seemingly be a loan so he wouldn't be able to play against us. Although I saw somewhere that all international "loans" are conducted as permanent transfers, I would assume what would happen is that Inter would transfer Osvaldo back to Saints to loan him to QPR. I can't imagine how long it will take the Italian FA to process that, given their sloth over Gaston and Guly in the past.
tpbury Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 So cliched but true. Well, Dani, with your millions in the bank, high class wife and international goals - where did it all go wrong?
Saint Charlie Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 He has been in Madrid apparently. Visiting a mate.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Last seen in the New Forest looking for Staplewood.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Will be playing for River in Argentina within 12 months which I think is what he wants, such a waste of what is obviously a real talent. Hate to MLG you but its Boca he supports.
jimmysaint7 Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Can he sign for another club?? Not checked dates etc but can you not only play for 2 teams in a season?? Has he played for juve and inter this season??
Wiseone Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 No, Ali Dia was worse..!What the everloving feck is wrong with this clown? We are going to get nothing for him, must be our worst buy ever.
Whitey Grandad Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 No, Ali Dia was worse..! I don't think we actually paid for him. I think we got him in a Christmas cracker.
VectisSaint Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Can he sign for another club?? Not checked dates etc but can you not only play for 2 teams in a season?? Has he played for juve and inter this season?? He has only played for Inter. Juve was so last season.
angelman Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 He has only played for Inter. Juve was so last season. But Milan are so this season (maybe, in a WTF sort of way!). http://www.givemesport.com/540073-ac-milan-could-rescue-dani-osvaldo-from-inter-nightmare?autoplay=on http://talksport.com/football/southampton-outcast-lined-switch-ac-milan-150121133282
Delboy Dave Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Why does he obviously feel so highly of himself? Portugalsaint Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 I don't think we actually paid for him. I think we got him in a Christmas cracker. If we did get him in an Xmas cracker it wasn't from Waitrose it was definitely a Tesco budget range.
SarniaSaint Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 He'll be a 'trffic signing as he's a 'trffic lad and a bargain who'll fit right into the hard working squad with no problems. 'trffic. Said from the car with Kevin Bond in the passenger seat......
Saint IQ Posted 21 January, 2015 Posted 21 January, 2015 Will be playing for River in Argentina within 12 months which I think is what he wants, such a waste of what is obviously a real talent. You mean Boca?
captainchris Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 Will be playing for River in Argentina within 12 months which I think is what he wants, such a waste of what is obviously a real talent. Not really a 'great' talent. Rather over rated actually......
angelman Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2920806/Dani-Osvaldo-offered-QPR-Southampton-outcast-goes-AWOL-loan-spell-Inter-Milan.html The Mail is running with the QPR bit. Interesting that they won't allow comments, because I guess they realise that it is complete bull**** and that people would tell them so. If he thought we were too small for his mercurial talents, I'm not sure that he will agree to sign up for a relegation dog fight in a 2nd stadium, with a 3rd rate manager and let's not mention their training ground.
angelman Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 It would be amusing. Maybe we could sell him to them rather than loan.
david in sweden Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 What the everloving feck is wrong with this clown? We are going to get nothing for him, must be our worst buy ever. and no thanks to Mauricio Pochettino who thought he could rehabilitate him:blush:
COMEONYOUREDS Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 Didn't flyer tell us QPR had a state of the art training ground?
Verbal Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 The Guardian now reporting the Osvaldo to QPR rumour. Seems a match made in heaven.
angelman Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 Guardian's take on things last year.http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/jan/29/southampton-dani-osvaldo-mauricio-pochettino
Foxstone Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 Would love it if he chinned Harry.... Triffic!
doddisalegend Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 Can we not do a swap for Charlie Austin..........Seriously though if QPR want to avoid relegation they need a striker who actually scores goals so clearly not Osvaldo then.
doddisalegend Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 QPR fans view http://www.qprdot.org/viewtopic.php?t=75311&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
Chez Posted 22 January, 2015 Posted 22 January, 2015 Barton vs Osvaldo on the pitch would be worth the entrance fee alone. I like the comments on the QPR page pointing to Osvaldo's rage at not getting a pass and asking how he will cope with Zarate (who never passes) and the rest of the QPR side who fail to find anyone with their passes. What a waste of money.
