We were bankrolled by the liebherrs but until Katherina Cortese was the commander and chief and realistically he didnt do a bad job getting us to where we are and laying foundations for future success

Yes, you're right, although Katherina was briefly Chairwoman after she ditched Cortese and before she had recruited Ralph. So her most powerful and decisive decision was made while she was Chairwoman. Sometimes, that's all it takes!

The new board are a breath of fresh air, and have done superbly after the torrid start to this summer, they have re-engaged with the fans and breathed new life into the side. Unfortunately a lot of the work done early in league 1 to streamline and forge a better run club was necessary, however there wasnt a need to be as much as a grade a ***** as cortese was. And I do have experience of dealing with the bloke, not easy. I will however say that I believe he had our interests at heart, in a strange way, atleast until the end anyway
