If Cork doesn't get a start today then I would think its a pretty good indicator that he is off.

Why would you think that? I don't think that would indicate anything personally - Koeman would be well within his rights to stick with the midfield three who did well at Newcastle. If Cork wasn't in the squad at all that would be more of an indication.

If he is staying they will want to give him some game time to build up match fitness.

If he isnt signing then you would assume they will look to sell next week to get something for him.

However from what has been said so far its more likely than not that he won't sign IMO. Once things are made so public its usually a bad sign.

Seeing as we know Morgan will leave and Wanyama could well attract interest, Cork should get a good amount of games next season but you couldn't blame him for wanting to be a first choice somewhere.

Looking forward to this one, Palace are going to give us a game and it won't be easy.

If we go at full strength and put in a decent shift we should win though.

2-0 or 2-1 to us.

When was that stated? or is it your "standard" pessimistic view but just posted as fact?

Ok. Seeing as the vast majority of Saints fans are pretty much resigned to the fact that Schneiderlin will most likely leave.

Is that better? Do you expect us to have him next season?

Its not pessimistic, its just realistic.

Resigned to the fact?? Resigned to the opinion as he has`nt left yet has he?

Ok. I hope you pull up everyone else who says Morgan will definitely leave.

Anyway, Cork starts today which is good.

Does this indicate that he is staying?

The last time we played Palace in the FA Cup, we won the thing!

Our record is pretty evening.

Games won: 40

Games drawn: 22

Games lost: 34

But won 6 of the last 7 against them.
