So Nigel Pearson has got Leicester to the top of League One. If we played them now would we beat them?

My answer: no.

Agree and we would struggle against MK Dons as well.

Not a chance in hell. In fact I genuinely believe this team would struggle against most League 1 sides.

I am concerned on 2 fronts if Lowe is allowed to continue with this farce:

1. We WILL relegate (certainty). But we will also sell the 3-4 decent nippas we have thus further eroding our hollowed out squad. That means WE WILL NOT PROMOTE BACK TO THE CCC FOR SEVERAL YEARS AT BEST.

2. Once we erode this Leauge 2 standard team still further - we will inevitably fall into League 2.

Nigel Pearson is doing well with Leicester so fair play to him. He didn't do so well with us last season but did just enough to keep us up. Somehow that translates to he would have done better this season with the same resources as JP for many fans. There is no guarantee that would have happened.

Same with Redknapp. Has success with Portsmouth but failed horribly here.

Strachan faailed horribly at Coventry but turned his career around with us.

McMemeny had his best times here but is reviled by Sunderland fans and achieved nothing of note after he left us.

Yes Leicester would beat us because they are full of confidence and flying high. I expect they would still beat us if Pearson was here and not there.

Equally, if Nigel Pearson was still here, would he beat Leicester on that sort of run?

And more importantly if Strachan was still with us would we beat Celtic at the moment?

I think we'd draw. :-P

My Missus is from Leicester and tells me they'd destroy us. She also loves to tell me how funny it is that we're going to swap places in May...

I still think it'd be a draw... as is the nature of us playing Teams that actually play football. Is good to see Matty Oakley doing well for them though.

If Jan was in charge and Lowe Chairman of Leicester we would

Would Leicester be on that sort of run, hypothesising that Pearson would be here and we have no idea who their manager, and his success rate, might be?
