ecuk268 Posted 15 January, 2015 Share Posted 15 January, 2015 Saturday 24th at 3.00pm £12 for adults £7 for concessions £5 for U-17s General sale starts on Monday. Good to see a sensible pricing policy. Palace should bring down a good few so it should be a decent atmosphere.

Will be a rubbish atmosphere for Saints fans sadly due to the whole of the Northam being taken again, shame really. If your home support is so supposed to help push the players on then we do ourselves no favours, even if the police force it as has been suggested I'm sure we could make a case for other options if we wanted. Palace must just be taking the 3200 standard away blocks , they should get close to bringing that many with such cheap prices. has anyone seen if they are doing the £25 hospitality deal again? stevegrant Posted 15 January, 2015 Share Posted 15 January, 2015 The club still don't seem to have quite nailed the "buying your own seat for cup games" thing on the online ticket site. For the Ipswich game, it wouldn't let me buy tickets for anyone on my friends and family list, so everyone had to buy separately. It's gone from one extreme to the other for the Palace game, as when I logged in, my basket was automatically full with tickets for ALL of my friends and family who hadn't already bought theirs! Had to manually remove each one

eurosaint Posted 15 January, 2015 Share Posted 15 January, 2015 Just bought mine online and it was spot on (for a change!), amazingly there was no booking charge unlike the Ipswich tie, I really don't know what the policy is as it seems to change match by match ! Bad Wolf Posted 15 January, 2015 Share Posted 15 January, 2015 Very good pricing again. Was expecting it to be more than Ipswich by a fiver if not more due to playing a team in a far superior league so to only be up by £2 is a real nice surprise and a real treat by the club. I'll be there.

vince Posted 15 January, 2015 Share Posted 15 January, 2015 A Palace ST holder at work was only offered the choice of blocks 44 and 45 today when he got his away tickets. Not saying that's all they've got, just that's all he could choose from.

Not saying that's all they've got, just that's all he could choose from. Surprised they get a choice. Normally, unless there are different price categories or restricted view tickets, the home club basically tells the away club in which order they want the tickets sold, so if they don't sell them all and want to return some, they can be resold to home fans. If 44 and 45 are the only ones available, that suggests they've probably already sold 46, 47 and 48 (the latter two are combined, right in the corner, I think), but that they're not going to sell the 500 or so they'd get in 43 until they know they're actually going to be needed. The fact that all of 42 is available to home fans seems to imply that they've decided the 3100 allocation is enough and they won't be wanting any more. Really difficult to believe the club would balls that up twice in the space of a few weeks.

A short drive down the motorway with those prices, surely they'd easily shift the full allowance? They're entitled to around 4,200 for the cup and even if they wanted to wait and see if the initial allocation sold easily before taking the lot then they wouldn't have to make that decision on the first day of sales. You would think they could sell 4k+ (noisiest away support down here last sason - could be a good thing they won't bring many)I hope the club haven't fooked up and sold seats to home fans they may have to claw back. Yeah, you'd think Palace would easily take 4k+, they've got loads of support in Surrey, West Sussex etc, if Ipswich can take 5k on a Sunday, Palace could match that on a Saturday. Hopefully someone hasn't ballsed up here!

stevegrant Posted 15 January, 2015 Share Posted 15 January, 2015 Can anyone explain how to use the online thing to get my "season ticket" seat? For me, I just have to log in and it's already in my basket (along with the tickets for everyone else on my friends and family list who hasn't yet bought theirs ), so try just logging in and then click on the basket at the top of the screen. If your home support is so supposed to help push the players on then we do ourselves no favours, even if the police force it as has been suggested I'm sure we could make a case for other options if we wanted. The police have said many times when there has been talk or moving the away support that they should be kept there due to the fact the buses park in Northam Road and they can just walk straight to the stadium and especially where they expect trouble, it makes it easier to manage. I use to work in the office and there was very often talk of trying to move the away support but 9 times out of 10 it comes back to the police not wanting them moved. I've heard a rumour that when Cortese was there and the expansion was going to happen, a second level of the car park was going to be added along with a train station so that they can move the away supporters to the second tier of the Kingsland therefore allowing the buses to park on the second level of the car park. I also heard something about the train station having two levels, one for home and one for away and they would build a wall leading from the train station across to the stadium basically meaning that the away fans would literally get off the buses right by the stadium or come out of the train and have no where to go but the stadium. That last bit was a very strong rumour but who knows now what they would of done.
