SaintRobbie Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Can I change my Pelle to hit the post sweepstake bet to 76th minute?
Chez Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Who a premier league team offered 3 million for in the summer the lad clearly has ability but inevitably some will slip through the net it's happened in the past and will happen again every youngster is a gamble and sometimes you back the wrong horse. Maybe we need to do a chelsea a la matic and admit we made a mistake and buy the lad back? Mind you Bertrand and Targett already down the left.
shurlock Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Who a premier league team offered 3 million for in the summer the lad clearly has ability but inevitably some will slip through the net it's happened in the past and will happen again every youngster is a gamble and sometimes you back the wrong horse. Pretty extraordinary circumstances as well. Released in 2009 when we were cost-cutting left, right and centre. Perhaps we would have been able to retain him if we hadn't been under the same financial pressure.
Dr Who? Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Anyone pressed the 'live snooker' red button yet?
igsey Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 'Taters being very complimentary about Fonte this game, fantastic to see, especially after all the praise Lovren got last season.
Wade Garrett Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Great game. Thinking about pressing the red button for live snooker.
Baird of the land Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Wonder if cork will be given 10/15 minutes.
5string Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 'Taters being very complimentary about Fonte this game, fantastic to see, especially after all the praise Lovren got last season. To be fair Lovren did well for us last season, although it now looks more than ever that it was Fonte who gave him the space to play well. He's come into his own this year, though, I agree.
corky morris Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 We are pretty poo tonight. Very disappointing.
sfc1976 Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Probably the first time in ages ITV get better ratings! Shocking game.
trousers Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Would Big Vic be sitting on the bench in the cold if his injury was bad?
doddisalegend Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Did we really let this Mings guy go? looks like a decent player giving Clyne a good game.
SaintRobbie Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 MOTM for me Long. Only player who has gone up to 3rd gear.
Saint_Tony Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 We'll take the win, thought Ipswich would have given us more of a test. I think the fact most of us are more concerned with Big Vic's injury shows that the cup isn't a priority this season
Saintmike5 Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Gonna be so annoyed if this goes into ET. Get the sneaking feeling both sides would be happy with a Saints 2nd, Ipswich so that they don't have to chase a late equaliser they almost certainly won't want.
Sheaf Saint Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Maybe we let Mings go because he's such a dirty c**t. That's twice now he has needlessly left his foot in against Forster. Should have got a yellow for it IMO.
Saint Charlie Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Probably Targett's poorest game for us.
Patrick Bateman Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 This is so dull. Fonte easily man of the match - commanding, again!
svetigpung Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Wonder if cork will be given 10/15 minutes. This is a game crying out for Cork. If match fit. Someone who can controll the midfield and keep it nice and tidy. Its been the complete opposite tonight. Need a second now. ET would be pants.
adrian lord Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 We are pretty poo tonight. Very disappointing. We are just doing enough and saving ourselves for weekend.
doddisalegend Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 We are pretty poo tonight. Very disappointing. Sometimes good teams get dragged down to lesser opponents level ......we've been OK without being great
Chez Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Probably Targett's poorest game for us. He is not a wing back. I'd of been tempted to switch him and Bertrand.
trousers Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 We are just doing enough and saving ourselves for weekend. This. We've played in 2nd gear all game and looking like coming away with a relatively comfortable win against a championship high flyer. Job done.
a1ex2001 Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Think mings would make a decent holding midfield player given the chance, big strong and looks comfortable on the ball.
Sheaf Saint Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 JWP's delivery even poor tonight In fairness to him, there is a strong wind tonight. Makes accurate delivery very difficult even from a dead ball.
doddisalegend Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Say what you like about Long but you can't fault his energy and commitment 89th minute and he is still chasing everything down like the f ucking energizer bunny.
maxi_sopez Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 let this end. never been so bored watching a saints game before
Chez Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Those doing the 1500 mile three game trip getting their rewards...
Saintmike5 Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Probably around 10000 Ipswich fans in the stadium who may not be coming back for a while.... We've been as good as we needed to be i.e not very, but can't really scoff at two away wins in 3 days. PITA about Victor though. Onwards and upwards.
CB Fry Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 I've got some work to do tonight so don't equalise FFS.
St Chalet Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 We have been in cruise control mode. They haven't threatened, we've turned it into the dullest cup tie in history, but we march on.
shurlock Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 If I was an Ipswich fan, I'd be annoyed with some of the fouls the ref's giving.
DG Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 That was a tough watch, hope the injuries aren't too serious.
Baird of the land Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Nice to see a professional if unspectacular win. Only downside was wanyama' injury.
