Fit isn't match fit. Depends if Newcastle are as poor as they were last time, wouldn't be much more of a challenge than Fulham U21s! In all seriousness, if he's on the bench then he should be match fit. No point having him in the squad otherwise.

CB Saint Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Hopefully Japan gets knocked out of the Asian cup sooner rather than later

Plastic Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Just got in. Wanyama injured plus apparently Ipswich have had the best of this game? Love this FA cup, watch us lose our next 3 league games now!

Mattio Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 oh FFS Tadic, Bertrand who else!? I'm more worried about injuries than winning now.
Katalinic Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Christ, let's pray for snow and mass postponements for 5 weeks.

Ulrich van Gobbel Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 What is it with the overreactions? Toby and Morgs are out for 3 weeks - so they'll miss Newcastle and Swansea and most likey be back for QPR on 7th Feb. Big Vic looked like a pulled hamstring so that would be 3-4 weeks as well - could be more or less - so he too could be back for QPR. We managed ok without Morgs/VW vs Everton with a midfield of Davis/Reed/JWP - Newcastle away will be a tougher test but missing those players isn't an automatic loss.

No, it isn't an automatic loss, but it will be a pain if we pick up another niggle in midfield, or need to switch things about. The starting XI start games for a reason - they are first choice and to be without them robs you of not only them but options too.
Dr Who? Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Tadic could not be arsed, so pretended he hurt. This is very 1st gear, but this is all we need.
trousers Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Tadic is slowing up our attacking play somewhat. This is where we miss Mane.

This they tell their target audience of what must be neutrals/not usual footy watchers and tarnish our name to the masses!
