ART Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 #SaintsFC midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin faces two to three weeks out with an adductor strain.
beatlesaint Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Thank goodness for the FA Cup weekend then, should only miss two league matches.

Saint Charlie Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Hopefully back for the Swansea game, if not then QPR. Not too bad but a blow nonetheless.

Lighthouse Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 That only really rules him out for Newcastle then, with Swansea touch and go at the start of February. I'm sure we can cope at SJP with Wanyama and Cork.

Cork is as close to a fill-in as we have. No problem with a Cork/Wanyama screen in midfield - the combo actually looked pretty strong against Arsenal till Cork went off injured.

bilbot79 Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Didn't we beat arsenal without him. The gunner fans were saying wanyama was nothing without Schneiderlin then we showed them
shurlock Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Morgan with a recurrent injury, Toby with a recurrent injury - a coincidence?

ART Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Think we should do a rethink on some of the training. Too many getting similar injuries. Thighs and ankles
Baird of the land Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Shame to lose Morgan, at least we have cork back to cover.

Dark Munster Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Good job Big Vic isn't injured as well. Oh....
Saint IQ Posted 15 January, 2015 Posted 15 January, 2015 The beauty of having so many good players that can play CM/DM. I think we'll be fine without Wanyama and Morgan for the next 3 games. Cork, Reed, Ward-Prowse and Davis can still fill those 2 positions. All good quality players
