What kind of wireless router for Virgin Broadband

Hello, the missus mum had Virgin Broad band but we want to set her up with a wireless router,

without going through virgin and getting their super hub etc...what sort of wireless router can be used that is up for purchase on a place like amazon

Virgin will give you their hub free of charge, as an existing customer. They upgraded mine recently, unprompted and again free
