Saint Garrett Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Think Targett will play - Has played in all our cup games this year. However he'll definitely be in the squad so wouldn't have played last night.
Saint Charlie Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Cork in the squad, or at least has travelled.
Bearsy Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 He didn't play for the under 21's last night, Debayo was the left back... tks he will prob start tomorrow then I Would Think
Matthew Le God Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Think Targett will play - Has played in all our cup games this year. He didn't play in the Ipswich game at St Mary's, he was an unused sub.
Batman Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 He didn't play in the Ipswich game at St Mary's, he was an unused sub. wasnt that because (maybe) bertrand had been out and maybe required the match fitness?
Matthew Le God Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 wasnt that because (maybe) bertrand had been out and maybe required the match fitness? Possibly, but its still hard to know who'll play tomorrow at left back.
a1ex2001 Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Possibly, but its still hard to know who'll play tomorrow at left back. Hard to guess the line up all-round for this one be interesting to see if recent results in the league have diminished the cup appetite Koeman has previously shown!
Bucks Saint Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Hard to guess the line up all-round for this one be interesting to see if recent results in the league have diminished the cup appetite Koeman has previously shown! No chance. We had some tough schedules when we played in the midweek league cup games, but RK has confirmed several times that he likes to win all games, and wants to do well in the cups. "...so I dont make big changes to the squad unless I have to for injuries". Expect a few rotational changes but not too many
Saint Charlie Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 McCarthy and Hesketh are travelling up to the game also.
richard Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 McCarthy and Hesketh are travelling up to the game also. Sweet, I like Hesketh. Want to see him bring all his MMA on their 'keeper.
bowers-sfc Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 McCarthy has said his squad had been hit by illness, a few likely to miss tomorrow
SuperMikey Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Elia is ineligible (I've a sneaking suspicion this might have been mentioned once or twice before now) Didn't know that! In which case, JWP right and Tadic left.
Whitey Grandad Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 McCarthy has said his squad had been hit by illness, a few likely to miss tomorrow Is he getting his excuses in early?
Saint Charlie Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Its only players thst didnt play in the first game. He will rest players again as he did at SMS.
ART Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 All we need is all our squad coming down with the Ipswich bug. Hope they'll be wearing gloves and masks and take along tons of disinfectant spray.
Matthew Le God Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 (edited) McCarthy has said his squad had been hit by illness, a few likely to miss tomorrow Where did he say that? At the Ipswich Town training ground when he was interviewed yesterday about the game. Edited 13 January, 2015 by Matthew Le God
Goatboy Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Hope they don't give us a virus I use the paid for version of avg and have never had a problem.
Jonnyboy Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Is it just me or does Forster look like he has a mild learning disability?
Batman Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Just seen that liverpool v Bolton is a TV game for the next round of the cup Jesus fecking Christ.
Batman Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Have to laugh at fat Sam He has been going on about how're flexible he is with tactics than Martinez Yet West Ham are losing (after taking the lead) to a 10 man everton side, at home lol I'm sure tactical box of tricks that is allardyce will get them out of this
shurlock Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Have to laugh at fat Sam He has been going on about how're flexible he is with tactics than Martinez Yet West Ham are losing (after taking the lead) to a 10 man everton side, at home lol I'm sure tactical box of tricks that is allardyce will get them out of this Sure not Sam "I could manage Real Madrid" Alladyce.

Batman Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Ian darke must be a West Ham fan. Jesus christ
krissyboy31 Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Ian darke must be a West Ham fan. Jesus christ Probably would be if he wasn't a Skate!!
Batman Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Probably would be if he wasn't a Skate!! Just seems to be very pro West Ham.
Batman Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 West Ham win a thrilling shoot out Ian darke is creaming himself
K,Billy's supersound Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 No Morgan, so Reed or Cork instead i guess.
Bewildered Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 No Morgan, so Reed or Cork instead i guess. Rested or injured?
trousers Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Rested or injured? Actually, just noticed that there's no sign of Morgan in the training video posted above (backdrop to the Forster interview)....
Saint Charlie Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 (edited) Makes sense to rest him IMO as that area of the pitch we actually have options. I think he has 7 bookings now so can only get 3 more til April before a 2 match ban and he is so important for us. That said, he has missed quite a few games recently, did a load of press and a TV interview to be shown as part of the coverage tomorrow and then isn't in any of the photos or videos so hopefully no injury! Edited 13 January, 2015 by Saint Charlie
dannysfc Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 I think that surely we'l Win and should do & go through & play Palarse & Pardew but this is Saints as anything can happen and that I guess the league form goes out the window for this and I think we'l Win 2-1 & go through but we'l see.....!!! Bit gutted Not to be going as I love Cup games minus penalties which I hope it doesn't go too & credit to the fans going too! COYR!!!
bilbot79 Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 Sweet, I like Hesketh. Want to see him bring all his MMA on their 'keeper. What's MMA?
richard Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 What's MMA? It's that cage-fighting thing. Was a reference to the Burnley game where he fouled the keeper and then was kicked off the pitch. He's pretty small.
ART Posted 13 January, 2015 Posted 13 January, 2015 No Morgan, so Reed or Cork instead i guess. Have noticed every time Morgan is bleating in the media big time, he doesn't play. Hope he's finally made up his mind and away trying up his move. He's a great player but he's becoming a threat, a liability to our stability

Lighthouse Posted 14 January, 2015 Author Posted 14 January, 2015 Not sure what your gripe is with Morgan, but you're coming over as a bit of a loon with anything associated with him. The words in bold are redundant IMO.
Lets B Avenue Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Just seen that liverpool v Bolton is a TV game for the next round of the cup Jesus fecking Christ. Did you know that the final is on Stevie G's birthday.
ART Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 Not sure what your gripe is with Morgan, but you're coming over as a bit of a loon with anything associated with him. In all the years supporting Saints there has never been a player who has blackmailed the club constantly in the way Schneiderlin is doing. I'd prefer we got shot of him and brought in a replacement and adapted to life without him, than be constantly subjected to his interviews in the press they stir up more doubt about his future at the club. Koeman immediately puts to rest rumors linking him with leaving the club, whereas Morgan and his agent fan the flames drawing attention to his availability should some club put up the money. I've lost trust in him and until he shows otherwise I will continue to express my belief that we'd be better getting shot of him sooner than later.
shurlock Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 injured groin Likely to keep him out of the Newcastle game?

I actually have a bit of sympathy with this point of view. Still not totally forgiven him for the summer. Only difference between his situation and the people who left is that the club said 'No' to his move. I admire his professionalism in playing well for us this season though.
Saint Charlie Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 I would give Cork a start then if he is fit enough. You could also understand completely if Koeman decided to play McCarthy instead of Fonte. Centre back situation is delicate and as Koeman has said this morning, league is the priority.
Sour Mash Posted 14 January, 2015 Posted 14 January, 2015 injured groin Schneiderlin? Major or minor injury? Could be why he looked p****d off post match.
