Rooney? Mean spirited B*****d!

He really makes for a shite midfielder, i spose he learnt all the worst bits of midfield play from Gerrard & England, every other pass is a hopeful glory ball

So who would have thought it Chelsea Arsenal United 7 points wow.

How do you pick a man of the match. Clyne & Bertrand both excellent. Fonte was outstanding and Morgan and Big Vic were superb.

That was a great team performance but a special mention to Gardos! Who I thought had a very good game.

Absolutely buzzing now.

can't believe he just said that.... Life Neville as a pundit but he just went doent a notch for saying that... Listing 7 teams MS might play for.... ****

They just don't get it do they? Saints are now a top club. We are a new breed of 'pocket top club'.

Neville just saying Spiderman should be at a top club , like , erm, Spurs .

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha you muppet.

Brilliant. COYR !

Yes that quote from Gary just shows that despite praise they do not and will not take Saints as a genuine top side

Go on BBC, try to edit that to make it look like United dominated!

They'll need to use shots from the warm-up.

Great day - and Dave Merrington is kicking Van Gaal while he's down.

Nice.

Please God, just fast forward to May already.

Don't wish your life away, enjoy every moment of where we are and where we have come from. Even after we went 1-0 up I told my daughter to relax and enjoy the sensation of being ahead at Old Trafford. It's never happened to me before.

Robbie Savage adds some balance

"I don't want to hear how bad Manchester United were, Southampton were great They were tactically immense and defensively solid. A well-deserved three points. What a fantastic performance and Southampton were disciplined throughout."

Talksport talking us up very nicely at the moment. :)

Ahem....edit, they've reverted to talking about Manure, Manure, Manure. What is it with pundits and their obsession with clubs with bottomless pits of money? C***s

I can't really sum up what I just saw. Oh wait...

A win at Old Trafford. Wow. And it's not like they're the **** Moyes Utd but back to being a dominant force (at least attacking wise) this season. Which makes our defending, and the fact that they had NIL shots on target, even more impressive. Gardos looked very composed when he came on, losing Toby was a blow I thought we'd end up being punished by. Morgan and Big Vic were outstanding. I really think that if we had a little extra attacking flair, one World Class player like Sanchez, we'd be nailed on top 4 every season.

Thrilled.

quite right... The jerk!

Quote taken out of context. He was actually trying to be very careful not to be disrespectful. He was really just stressing that Morgan is a truly great player. Some of us have known that for years.

Stunning stuff . I was in the legion in Kirkwall watching the game . I let out a mighty cheer when tadic scored . Was I am embarrassed not at all . There was a lad who a treble bet on and was sure he would £200 pounds with United to win . Ha ha ha .

Still I got him a pint as a consolation . The last 5 mins seemed to last an eternity

Well done to all the fans and players that were up there today.

What a fantastic result
