Would be nice if Stoke/Palace got something from their respective games .... but I can't see it. Think we have to assume Arse/Spurs will win.

A point tomorrow will be an excellent result based on todays results.

I'm hoping for the new manager effect to be in full on mode. In the battle of the ex saints managers I'm firmly backing Pardew on this one.

You can always be hopeful but basically it's a no contest, Spurs will win at a canter and go above us, temporarily no doubt. Spurs don't lose league games now in case you hadn't noticed. Palarse only have 2 good players and they're both on continental cup duty.

Poch is turning out alright for them

In the next phase of the Europa cup. Semi final of the league cup. Still in FA cup and currently 4th in league

But they have an incredibly congested fixture list coming up

It's quite worrying, have a feeling Spurs will continue their good run. Looking at the current points totals, you'd expect a couple of teams around us to significantly improve for the latter half of the season. We just need to keep doing what we have been, after tomorrow the fixtures are looking a lot better for us.

Was always going to be the case IMHO. The only question was if the Spurs players were going to buy into his way of doing things.

The good run will end tho - after all we have them to play at SMS ?

Quite worrying in what respect? Worrying is for when we were stuck in a relegation battle, a few games away from going out of the league. Slipping down the table from 4th to 5th is nothing more than a mild inconvenience.

Worrying in terms of us competing for a top 6 spot.

People obviously mean in terms of this season. Maybe worry is the wrong term, but we want to finish as high as we can so runs from the likes of Spurs, Liverpool etc are bound to frustrate Saints fans slightly.
