Could have been three home games but thats the way the fixture list is and the balls come out the bowl. As they now have seven days rest / training before the Manure game I cannot really see a problem for proffessional sportsman to complete 270 minutes of football in seven days not allowing for Fergie time or extra time in the Ipswich game plus penalties.
The other silver lining is that after the Newcastle match, they'll have a 15 day rest.

Knowing they got that rest coming, they should be able to put forth maximum effort into Newcastle.

look at it this way, it's Jan 5th... we only play three games from now until Feb 1st.

If we lose against Ipswich.

If we do go out of the cup, both Feb and March are pretty light fixtures wise as well.

The cheap tickets were most welcome but a pretty tired and lackluster game of football I thought, enlivened only by young Lloyd Isgrove's spirited performance - one young man who was definitely 'up for the cup'.

Early days of course but it will be interesting to see how far this lad can go.
