I am sure a lot of you saw the chat between the lads today. Merson now thinks Arsenal will finish 15 points ahead of Saints and not 20! Loving Le Tiss's wry smile. All praised Mane's goal although Charlie Nicholas kept saying poor defending. However they all praised Davis saying how underrated he is. Thommo particularly praised Davis as a top player, Merson said he is a 8/9 out of 10 every match.

I know it's been mentioned on other threads, but I would say Davis is, without doubt the most appreciated current Southampton player among the fan base (primarily in the form of "I really rate Davis, even though everyone else hates him").

Wasn't Davis referred to as a grey player. One of those who stays under the radar. Another one that I really cannot understand why he does as well, is Toby. Watching the recent games, especially with a back 3, he is pivotal. A pivotal spine of Toby, Wanyama and Davis, all who get somewhat over looked (Wanyama get's overlooked because of the infatuation with Morgan).
