Batman Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 good start for us, united losing at stoke after a few mins
tpbury Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Think underdog wins all round would be great for us! Just watching Shaw failing to deliver a cross again. Go Stoke!
Jack Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 United have been poor again. Hope they don't force the winner. All this talk of them challenging this season is ridiculous, they've just had a lucky run recently when they've actually not been good.
trousers Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Full time: Stoke 1 Man Utd 1 That'll do nicely.
adrian lord Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Not a bad result but Stoke robbed by Big Club Ref.
Verbal Kint Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 United have been poor again. Hope they don't force the winner. All this talk of them challenging this season is ridiculous, they've just had a lucky run recently when they've actually not been good. They've been awful every time I've seen them and have been getting lucky most weeks. Luck runs out eventually. Looking at the table i think they're the ones in the false position, not us and West Ham based on performances so far
Batman Posted 1 January, 2015 Author Posted 1 January, 2015 Burnley are doing very very well...fair play to them 3-3 at the mo
Window Cleaner Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Not a bad result but Stoke robbed by Big Club Ref. Indeed, cast iron, welded on penalty. The FA have to sort out these handballs because players are playing the percentage game and coming out on the plus side of the ledger. The old rules were clear, handle or arm the ball in the box=spot kick, now it's all hand to ball or ball to hand minute analysis and nothing given.
Batman Posted 1 January, 2015 Author Posted 1 January, 2015 Chelsea winning. Spurs looking Decent though Hazard tearing them a new one
Sheaf Saint Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Spurs 2-1 up now. Meaning we now have the best defensive record in the PL with more than half the season gone.
Saints foreva Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Still fancy Chelsea to get something from this game.
Wrensup Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 So whats different between our game and Spurs' game angainst Chelsea?
Chewy Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 The only teams we didn't pick up points on today so far are hull and citeh, neither of whom are direct competition for us (for different reasons). So far then, a great day. Spurs winning would be the only bad result for us of the day, so I'm cheering on Chelski for the second half.
Saints foreva Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Still fancy Chelsea to get something from this game. I retract this comment.
Saint Charlie Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Spurs in a great run of form to be fair. Could well end up qualifiying for the CL.
Edmonton Saint Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 David Pleat really is an awful commentator. He is almost creaming himself here today.. And apparently he spoke to Brad Friedel and Brad Friedel said that he is the best finisher at the club.. Pleat getting confused shocker..
Batman Posted 1 January, 2015 Author Posted 1 January, 2015 Quite funny. Merson was saying earlier that the difference between city and Chelsea was that if Chelsea took the lead at Spurs they wouldn't let two goals in like city seem to do
Saint Without a Halo Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Quite funny. Merson was saying earlier that the difference between city and Chelsea was that if Chelsea took the lead at Spurs they wouldn't let two goals in like city seem to do Well I guess he is still right with four in so far
Dark Munster Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Spurs in a great run of form to be fair. Could well end up qualifiying for the CL. Nightmare scenario: they pip us for 4th, and as a result Morgan, Big Vic, Toby and Clyne leave for CL football. It would take my dislike for MP to a whole new level.
doddisalegend Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Nightmare scenario: they pip us for 4th, and as a result Morgan, Big Vic, Toby and Clyne leave for CL football. It would take my dislike for MP to a whole new level. on the other hand it would give Charlie a massive hard on.....
Lighthouse Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 I think we may be getting pushed further down the billing on MOTD.
doddisalegend Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 WTF has happened at Spurs v Chelsea. ****ing Mopo couldn't get that sort of result with us....were the Chelsea players out celebrating until the early hours? Reckon we're going to be quite far down the schedule on MOTD tonight.
doddisalegend Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Wonder what José's post match interview will be like tonight
Sheaf Saint Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Fabregas is such a bellend. He just can't stop himself from mouthing off to the ref can he. It's quite obvious why Chelsea have a reputation for diving and trying to con the ref. They have been at it all game this evening as well. Thankfully he hasn't fallen for any of it.
Lighthouse Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 Dead heat at the top of the League if I've got this right. Chelsea top alphabetically.
richard Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 FULL-TIME: Tottenham 5-3 Chelsea Only bogus result for us today.
Batman Posted 1 January, 2015 Author Posted 1 January, 2015 WTF has happened at Spurs v Chelsea. ****ing Mopo couldn't get that sort of result with us....were the Chelsea players out celebrating until the early hours? Reckon we're going to be quite far down the schedule on MOTD tonight. Under MOPO we beat Chelsea, Liverpool etc also Just not with 5 goals
waterlooville saint Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 We're back to having the best defence in the league
Lazlo78 Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 After Cahills penalty, Saints is now the only team not to give away a penalty in the league this season...
richard Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 After Cahills penalty, Saints is now the only team not to give away a penalty in the league this season... Why would you mention that? Are you crazy?
doddisalegend Posted 1 January, 2015 Posted 1 January, 2015 (edited) After Cahills penalty, Saints is now the only team not to give away a penalty in the league this season... Thanks to some outrageous reffing decisions going our way................................................................................................long may it continue Edited 1 January, 2015 by doddisalegend
