Been meaning to get tickets following my block 42 seat being n/a and left late and now none together in the other standing blocks...doh

think give block 1 go for change although me and mate have to sit separate

good effort by saints fans didn't expect such turn out

It is a top effort, ipswich have confirmed they sold out 5500 being the whole of the Northam stand so that will limit the amount of segregation needed. Can see this selling out over the next few days.

Still availability in hospitality, £25 for the saints bar, I'd recommend that to anyone who wants to try the best seats in the ground for a cheap price.

I don't think the Ipswich end will make that much noise, massive travel club day out on a sunday, bet they'll be mostly sat down

Crowd of over 31k will be among the biggest of the round

of course they will. over 5k of them, away day to a prem side...of course they will. especially if they take the league/equalise

Why should they drop the prices more? Haven't we sold out most home games recently?

Recently but not for all the smaller teams. I'm also not sure what's going on as we used to get over 32k when we sold out now the sell outs are like 31.5k.

Bought three tickets this morning and nothing left except singles anywhere in the stadium apart from the Chapel.

I have a sneaking suspicion that had Cortese still been here, the ticket prices would have been much higher than they are. It just goes to show that the policy of selling at a decent price produces a capacity crowd, therefore good support and spin-offs for merchandising and concourse sales.

Looks like there is just a handle of normal tickets left - singles scattered around the ground - assuming we'll sell most of the £25 hospitality now as well this attendance will be well over 31k crowd, excellent reward for the clubs pricing policy.

Hoping for a good game with near full strength sides, but I'm wondering whether Ipswich will really want the cup distraction whilst they're flying high in the league? Reckon this will be quite reminiscent of our cup tie vs Burnley last season.

they also play derby after our game. maybe that will cloud their selection-vision

Ipswich should have less need to field a below strength side as don't have game now until Sunday - weird why FL don't have games on New Year's Day as isn't it bumper crowds generally so seems odd to give it up as fixture day?

Doesn't McCarthy have a history of fielding weak sides?

I imagine Ipswich forum will have a thread with plenty posting they don't want distraction of the FA cup.

Just shows that the cups are still be a big draw if the club get the prices right.

As a fan I still take it seriously, it's our biggest (our only) chance of silverware and something we have a realistic chance of winning.

Should be a cracking match, Burnley gave us a good game last year and Ipswich will be just as dangerous. Got to be on our best form to win this.

Blimey, glad I logged in this morning and saw this .... travelling down on Sat and assumed I'd be able to stroll up and pay on the day on Sun!! Just booked into The Saints Bar for 25 quid, still not a bad price for what should be a good open match, neither side will want a replay.

Is there a dress etiquette with this section ... and what stand are the seats in?

I dont think it's in the Dell bar round the back, I think it's in a bar within the Hospitality area in the Itchen, I also think that's where you'll be sat (the seats you see Katrina and the managers sitting in)

Correct - there is also a dress code which is smart casual - no trainers or sports wear (or replica tops)
