Southampton vs Chelsea build-up

Only reservation is that he is very easy to run past so would he actually contain Hazard at all? Attacking wise it fits.

I think he could do a job because he has a great engine to get up and down. Also doesn't disrupt the back 3 and allows us to play big Vic, Morgan and Davis in midfield, without the team losing his dead-ball/crossing ability.

Assuming Wanyama & Schneiderlin start, why would you drop JWP in favour of keeping Davis? JWP made one assist from open play and one from a set-piece in the last game, while Davis looked slow and gave the ball away twice around his own area. To beat a team of Chelsea's quality, set-pieces could be vital, and we've only looked remotely dangerous from them since JWP returned to the side.

@Nathaniel_Clyne: Disappointed I can't be involved today big game to miss but I'll be back soon good luck to the lads today #WeMarchOn #KeepMeInYourFantasy

Certainly doesn't sound like the broken bone hypo said.

Although been about our best player this season , we do have options.

I don't know enough about the U21 players to comment but..

Toby play RB for Belgium, - CBs or back three of Fonte/ Gardos/ yoshida

Jwp was used there last season, particularly if a back 3 behind him.

Playing a more attacking winger with three behind.

I thought in Everton game it was a clear 3 at the back

Rarely looked like 5. Although Chelsea may demand different!

They normally put it on Twitter as per position...this is how they've put it on..

@SouthamptonFC: #SaintsFC team vs @chelseafc: Forster, Yoshida, Fonte ©, Alderweireld, Targett, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Tadić, Mané, Pellè.

If so, for all we know Yoshida could be playing fullback in a 4-3-3. Either way, can't think of anyone more ill suited to wingback than Tadic.

Hmmm, issue is going to be attacking wise, as we use our full backs to create our width, and without Yoshida getting forward we may well struggle.

Think this will be a tin hat job. They are strong through the middle so 4-3-3 should hopefully keep it tight, and provide them with less opportunity.

Still think Vic will be key if he plays well!

Eek!
