Saw the line up and was frankly too pizzed off to watch ... Will zip through on Catch Up tomorrow...bloody ridiculous scheduling...we'll need to win the league before they take us seriously!

The BBC will do everything they can to make sure we don't win the league

Like put us on near the end and get lawro to predict draws instead of wins for us

Mane finally delivered, JWP very good, but gave my MOTM to Ryan Bertrand. This system is perfect for him and he was awesome in both directions and took his goal brilliantly on his weaker foot.

It wouldn't be SWF without negatives, so:

- Forster, big concern for me. He's a giant but is so weak when it comes to commanding his area. Glued to his line and his indecision is going to cost us.

-Yoshi still scares the sh*t out of me. He was decent enough but always seems to be on the verge of conceded a goal scoring opportunity.

- Gardos is a tank, but he's nowhere near mobile enough IMO.

Great to see a different selection of goalscorers again, shows that we aren't over reliant on Pelle. Still don't get all the Forster criticism, think he was solid again. Maybe people are over scrutinising every goal we concede as we don't let many in. And fairplay to JWP, as one of his biggest critics, have to say he was excellent.

You sure? Not from where I was stood. He was a bit hesitant, couple of dodgy punches, and several balls into the 6 yard box that any commanding keeper would come and take and take the pressure off. He doesn't look confident to me.

I really don't see why people are shot down and branded a bed wetter for highlighting any kind of negative after a win. I'm obviously delighted with the win yesterday and thought it was a good performance overall.

But I do think it's a concern that a £10m rated 6'8" brick sh*thouse of a goalkeeper can't come off his line to claim a cross and command his area better. I don't see why it can't be a valid subject for discussion just because we won and his mistakes didn't lead to a goal.

I agree with you in general. However, thought he was decent last two games. When we have the new player he can play wing and mane upfront we will have so much pace in team. Thought long would play but tommorow but mane could give terry problems with his pace.

Shame Mane will miss a month just when he is coming into form, but our options by the end of the season could be class with Pelle, Tadic, Mane, Elia, Jay Rod and Long to choose from.

Was watching the goals from last season a few days ago and its easy to forget just how good Jay was, scored about 15 league goals, many of which were class finishes. Will be great to get him back and linking with Pelle.

I meant after african nations. How much of jan is he likely to be out for? Yoshida will be a miss in current form too. If j rod is fit regard it as a bonus. By the way I'm sorry it is clynes foot. Sounds like he may be fit though.

No worries mate. Depends how Senegal do, but looks like he will miss until part way through Feb. Bony should be missing for Swansea when we play them too which is a bonus.

Not sure about Yoshida, but these mid season tournaments are a pain.

Would say offering him employment in the first place was miss guided charity..

Yep - absolutely crazy appointment. The chasm between what it takes to be a successful Manager in the Championship and what it takes to be a successful Manager in the Premier League is widening all the time.

Someone told me a crazy stat the other day - in the last 10-15 years (something like that) only ONE foreign Manager has got promoted out of the Championship. Yet the moment most young British Managers get into the Premier League they look like lost little puppies.

He's like it after every game, win or lose. Smells like saint Richmond who disappeared after being outed as a **** and had the tendency to chat to himself or his other accounts.

Outed as what, an expletive or something more meaningful? I don't come here every day (apologies, I have a life outside saints web, unlike a lot of others).

I can think of some apt obvious 4 letter words for him, obviously, but has he been outed as a skate, or Rupert Lowe or something?

Really, if you want this website to be something worthwhile, a lot of you need to stop talking to yourselves and become more informative, or at least clearer about WTF you're trying to say.

Neil 'I wont say anything about the ref but he was absolutely dreadful today and got it completely wrong' Warnock.

Can't see Palace doing any worse without him. Could be a good job for Nigel Adkins IMO, they definitely have the talent there to stay up with the right coaching. A decent striker would get them above teams like QPR, Burnley and Hull IMO.

I believe what he is trying to say is that I'm a c**t. It's all a bit unnecessary really, claiming i have another account as a previous user is embarassing. At the end of the day, I'm a lot more cautious and pessimistic than a few others, but there's no need for trolling accusations. I would love nothing more than for us to upset the applecart and gatecrash the top 6 party. Maybe I just don't believe we can do it, it's almost too good to be true. By the end of the first round of fixtures, with the exception of Burnley we will have lost to 6 other teams who may well finish above us. Do the players believe we are capable of beating these sides?

I apologise if people are ****ed off by my comments, but there's a long way to go. We have the foundations here of a great side here, but there still appears to be an inferiority complex in us. We are capable of beating every team in this league. Once we show we can, which might be tomorrow or thursday, then maybe I will start believing. But it's early days, and realistically we are not going to take maximum points off of the teams weve beaten the second time around. Let's enjoy it, but stay grounded. A 7th or 8th placed finish would be a great achievment, some people may be expecting too much because of how we've performed so far.

If its "still early days" then how did our top 6 chances "finally end" according to you yesterday then?

You're a pointless troll and most people here know it.

I agree with Tony, can't see us in the top six, we've played well but ultimately lost against all of the top teams.

I'm not a skate.

We've lost against them once, we still have another shot at them, mostly at home this time, the key to the top 6 for us are the Arsenal and Spurs games, Still think we can do it myself but for that we'll be needing to have no more illusions about 'Cup Glory' and days out at Wembley.

Because, I feel we have performed as well as we possibly can. It will be difficult to match our points total in the 2nd half of the season. If we can, then 5th spot will be ours, and it would be incredible. Chelsea, City, Man Utd and Arsenal will finish above us. Spurs and Liverpool have both been poor, yet are only trailing us by a few points, and I would expect both to perform better in the latter half of the season. I'll be delighted with 8th or above and a cup run. CB, you need to calm yourself down, there's a lot of anger in your posts.

Of course we haven't, we just needed to take our chances against Arsenal and Utd and we'd have more points than we have actuellement and they'd have less. Not taking your chances when they arrive can't be "playing as well as we possibly can".

Utd were shîte against us and against Arsenal, they should have lost both games, they put the rare chances that they had away in both cases and are 6 points better off than they really should be. On just that front there's plenty of room for improvement already, notably Pelle.

You're kidding, right...? Right??? The question is whether we can hold top 4. We're easily good enough for top 6. Mane coming through is huge. Wanyama strong cameo. Alderweireld rocks! And Tadic still to return. Chelsea game could be incredible.

Fully agreed New York Saint. COYR

That's all jolly nice, but nothing "finally ended" yesterday, did it?
