Mane was fantastic. Man of the match for me. Absolutely brilliant. 9/10, only not able to receive a 10 because he took too long to cross a ball in the 2nd half and he went down too easily at one point too. Other than that he had a perfect game. Goal and an assist but even without those he still had a brilliant game. Full marks to him.

Great win, we've done well to find our form today, great to see Mane finally deliver. Just a shame wins for Spurs and Liverpool have finally ended any hopes of a top 6 finish. Two tough games to come now, but the pressure is off now.

What the fook are you talking about ?

You would find the cloud in a silver lining fella.

You're kidding, right...? Right??? The question is whether we can hold top 4. We're easily good enough for top 6. Mane coming through is huge. Wanyama strong cameo. Alderweireld rocks! And Tadic still to return. Chelsea game could be incredible.

Thought it was an iffy lineup but the change in formation seems to be helping. Hoping Mane can continue to prove me wrong.

He will - he has a touch of class and makes things happen; we have to accept the odd gaff. Toby excellent today, Yoshida solid and though I'm not his biggest fan JWP did some nice things today.

I'm not to sure whether you're just on a wind, up, had too much of the sauce over Christmas, or whether you're just being a bit stupid.

Mane and Toby were quality today,we really need to make Ryan and Toby's signings permanent, they really are class players.

Thought the subs were made at the right time as the Chelsea match will be a hard game, hopefully everyone fresh/fit for Sunday

Fantastic win - not because Palace are anything to get excited about (watch MOTD tell us how poor they were), but because it keeps the winning run going while going into the next two games - vital for the self-belief IMO. Mane was better, but still had his moments of running out of ideas and falling over. Clyne, Bertrand and Toby were class...Gardos and Yoshida good too. Very pleasing late Chrimbo present and now really looking forward to giving Chelski a run for their money (but not expecting much).

Apart from a 5-10 minute spell in the first half, and conceding a disappointingly soft goal late on, we never looked like throwing this one away. The 3-5-2 formation seems to be working against the lesser teams, but I doubt we will see it in the next few games.

Mane did very well today, a much improved display than against Sheff Utd when he looked terrible. Hats off to him.

Back-to-back wins is just what we needed as we head into another tough run of fixtures.

I just wish I had gone with my first instinct this morning. I was going to put a fiver on 3-1 with Bertrand to score any time, but I changed my mind at the last moment and chose Clyne instead. Gutted.

Calm down everyone, just feel the gap is too close considering our next 2 fixtures. Just worried that once Spurs and Liverpool get ahead of us, we might find it difficult to catch them. That is all. Until we show we can grab points of off teams like Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal, then it's near enough an impossibility to finish ahead of them. I'll enjoy our win, but once again, people are getting carried away.

Too much sauce I would say but it is going to be very difficult staying ahead of Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs who all seem to be turning things round. I don't think we will do it and think that perhaps 7th is the best we can hope for. Would love to be proved wrong though.

Wise words mate. Was all ready to enjoy a good victory but then you reminded me that Spurs and Liverpool both won so all is lost. Oh well, at least the pressure is off now.

They both have to come to us so we need to make sure that we win those two. Other than that, all we can do is to win as many games as possible and the table will take care of itself.

Those who questioned the starting line-up are just gong to have to trust and get used to rotation to keep players fresh at this time of the season. It's a product of an improving and expanding squad...it's the future.

Great win...the sort of fixture we used to lose...very happy :)

Yep .... seems this Koeman fella knows a bit more about his players than the majority of posters on here. Who'd have thought that was possible?

We've lost to Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs already and are still ahead of them. Nothing is decided solely by head-to-heads and nothing is decided in January. Anyway, didn't you already declare our top six chances over? Almost as if you're doing it for a rise...

This is one of those posts you can point to in May if we don't finish top 6 isn't it. Just. ****. Off.
