Bakovnetski Posted 20 December, 2014 Share Posted 20 December, 2014 looked an interesting feisty kind of player when he came on today, albeit for only 5 minutes. Needs tailor made kit but may be another useful attacking midfield option.
Saint_clark Posted 20 December, 2014 Share Posted 20 December, 2014 In relative terms he's coming through later (compared to our other academy players) at 20 years of age. I kind of like that though that we seem to be giving players longer to develop than the days of dumping Jamie White et al as soon as they hit their 20s. dubai_phil Posted 20 December, 2014 Share Posted 20 December, 2014 The look on his face when he was about to come on spoke volumes about the Spirit in the Club. It was a kinda 12 year old who still believes in Santa face, He also made a couple of good passes, positional sense was good and won a few tackles. #promising
OldNick Posted 20 December, 2014 Share Posted 20 December, 2014 Charlie Nicholas said he looked like a schoolboy and went onto the pitch with a cap and satchel on. I got the impression he was 16 not
CB Saint Posted 20 December, 2014 Share Posted 20 December, 2014 Not often that a home team bring on a sub and the crowd says "who?" Seemed to put a good shift in
Saint Charlie Posted 20 December, 2014 Share Posted 20 December, 2014 I don't think you could form an opinion from the time he was on the pitch to be honest. Think he had a bad injury which he has recovered from recently. Was always quite highly rated, think he was on the bench before under Adkins. Whitey Grandad Posted 20 December, 2014 Share Posted 20 December, 2014 He did ok for the little time he was on the pitch. I'm not sure he has the physical stature to be a success at this level. I didn't know we were allowed to play the mascot?

I didn't know we were allowed to play the mascot? Nothing like writing a kid off after 5 minutes. Not sure what physical stature has got to do with it, Messi isn't exactly a giant. saintsmike Posted 20 December, 2014 Share Posted 20 December, 2014 Lol physical stature, so Lallana/Bale/Walcott all had that 'physical' stature. Complete joke when people say that, if you want stature get Ollie Lancashire. Personally I'd much rather technical ability, intelligence and talent than someone who is just a lump. VectisSaint Posted 21 December, 2014 Share Posted 21 December, 2014 I thought he was same age as Seagar, 18 or so. So he's 20 already, explains some of the comments on BBC about how many teens we had in the squad, one or two I thought were are actually not teens any more. Is he the first Saints player called Dominic, no offence meant but it really does not sound like a footballer's name, a bit like Rupert.
