DG Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Derby score v Chelsea, we've had one decent shot in 80mins v Sheffield.
Smirking_Saint Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 We have had nothing from the attacking quartet, no threat, no hold up play and hardly any defending from the front Terrible
davefoggy Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 sorry, but can someone remind me which is the league one team and which is prem? and we are playing in red & white, yes?
Edmonton Saint Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 £22 million on long and mane.. Yet both looked out of their depth tonight against L1 opposition. Shocking.
Norm Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 First save by their keeper in the 69th minute!
Batman Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Koeman does not rate this cup too much then. When Toby starts on the bench
Lorne Malvo Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Long gets caught offside far too often Not used to playing the front man these days.
Edmonton Saint Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 And yet again Reed sat on the bench for a day trip .
DG Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Oh a corner, that'll create a decent chance for us.
bpsaint Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 This is ****ing abysmal. 4000 of our boys up there and they have to put up with this ****e.
mcjwills Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 When we go through a bad patch we really go through a bad patch
BotleySaint Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Momentum just not in our direction at the moment. As with most games recently, when we go behind it's pretty much over from that point.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Not sure if we play any better in the league cup when we are meant to be interested
geoffnut Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Don't deserve that massive support, give them their money back!
Batman Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Talksport rumour mill has us linked with sneijder lol
Edmonton Saint Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Sheffield United had the guts to play some kids tonight.
Mr X Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 The whole team has been dreadful barring Forster has been shameful. made a couple of decent saves and had a couple of howlers too!
adrian lord Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 This is ****ing abysmal. 4000 of our boys up there and they have to put up with this ****e. Yes, nothing short of disgraceful.
broken spoke Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 When we go through a bad patch we really go through a bad patch it's never been easy being a saints supporter....
Saint_Tony Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 When on poor form, away from home in a cup tie against a lower league team up for it, you play your best team. Simples. How often does any team do that? Even teams in the Championship are putting out weakened sides. The fact is we have very few options and very little quality beyond our first 11. At the start of the season, we had luck on our side, I got shot down for suggesting there are 8 or 9 better teams in the league than us. Now we are starting to see how good we really are.
Dalek2003 Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 I would take 17th if this form continues.
Rich102 Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Jesus christ why are we hitting it long against a L1 defence, and with no height up front.
St Chalet Posted 16 December, 2014 Author Posted 16 December, 2014 Schneiderlin misses Everton game as well, joy.
adrian lord Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 I would take 17th if this form continues. That might be prescient.
DG Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 The midfield v Everton is going to be interesting!
Saints foreva Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 So not only are we going to lose to a League One side, we've also got Wanyama and Schneiderlin out for Saturday. Another defeat.
Dalek2003 Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 fk morgan yellow too Could it get any worse ?
Batman Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Morgan suspended for Everton Just extra time needed to complete the rot That is the Everton game lost
angelman Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 ****ing great. Lost here. Lost Wanyama and Spider for Saturday. And a **** of a commentator.
jasonb Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Keep the faith chaps.. The players haven't become crap over night.. Just the confidence has evaporated. It can return as quickly as it left. This is horrendous stuff being served up at the minute mind.
mcjwills Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Can this game go any worse wanyama and Spidey missing on Saturday.
Edmonton Saint Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 The midfield v Everton is going to be interesting! No doubt reed still wont play
BotleySaint Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Even the most optimistic fan can't see many wins in the upcoming 4-5 games. With Everton next and we are up against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd by this time next month. Can't see where the next win, or the next goal is coming from.
Chalkboy Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 We had a sustained period of media praise, lots of talk about Champions League, Koeman saying he hasn't seen many teams better than us, almost an entire first 11 off on international duty, and then we've turned to s***e, (a few injuries too it has to be added) Reality bites.
Jonnyboy Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 It's bizarre. Has there ever been such a swing in form before? It's like Newcastle this season but in reverse.
Batman Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Morgan should have been sent off for a 2nd yellow
Micky Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 I think that we can safely say that the wheels have well and truly come off. I can't see where we get a point from in the next five games. Avoiding relegation will be a successful season.....
pangy Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Jeez this is painful to watch This is the Southampton I know and love,4 straight defeats about to be dumped out of the cup by a league 1 team, all this top 4 ******** was embarrassing
Wrensup Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Just extra time needed to complete the rot That is the Everton game lost So no Cork, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, and Davis?
Saints foreva Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Forster makes up for his error but only if we score which isn't looking likely.
Convict Colony Posted 16 December, 2014 Posted 16 December, 2014 Fonte has been average the last 4-5 games, would like to Toby + Florian next time
