Online Booking for Ipswich Cup Tie ??

I am trying to book my usual seat for the cup tie on 4th Jan and firstly it comes up as I have already purchased 2 seats for this match, which I haven't !

I am able to delete these but thereafter it offers me another seat in the Kingsland but not my regular ST one !

I am thick or is it just a non user friendly system ??

I realise that I can phone them but that sort of defeats the object of online buying so I would appreciate any advice, thanks !

had problems earlier in the day couldn't get my , seat , then I could but not my son's. Later in the day I was able to buy for all linked to me.

You need to Log on

 

If you log on it highlights your seat

 

however i've found you have to log on for each separate ticket you purchase or certainly that's what I had to do to get my sons ticket as normal friends and family link did not work

I can't even buy a ticket! Trying to get three, one for me, one for my 5yr old and one for my bro. It states you need to be a ST holder to get them now, which I'm sadly not, but then it says I can buy one only, though I can't add a U11 ticket to it, so I have to buy three all independantly and try and get them next to each other.

 

Only when I try to do that, it decides actually, you can't buy one afterall! Doesn't give any dates for general sale, does anyone know? I've bought 14/15 match tickets, but no ST. I wouldn't panic, only they seem to be shifting way quicker than I thought they would!

This system is amazing. My tickets were all there ready for me to select. It then tells you to enter a code to make the U11 free, so I enter the code to get a 'code not valid' error:mcinnes:

Neither of us can't fathom out system.

 

We will persevere but many won't.

Booked mine, easy peasy. Didn't even realise that daughter's ticket would only be a fiver (under 21) even though she is now nearer 22. Can't be bad.

Had real problems booking tickets for this one online too. My old man and I have ST's next to each other and our acounts are linked, but it just would not let me purchase our both our normal seats for this one. In the end had to phone up the 0845 number so they could do it for me.

 

I've not had that problem in the past.

Exactly the same for me as others have stated above. I am linked to 3 other ST holders and could not buy the tickets online, said I have already bought 2! Ended up ringing the box office.

We went online to reserve our own seats in Block 41, only ever once been covered by segregation (against Man U when we were in L1 and they took the 3300 not the 2700 or whatever it is), but due to the online booking system not being able to differentiate between sections within Blocks, we couldn't reserve anything in Block 41 because the whole thing is unavailable.

 

This is even though it's impossible to actually give Block 41 to the away side without also doing that for Block 40, which IS available online.

 

In the meantime, my wife had also gone in, and because it was before 9am I was getting the "not eligible" message. Then at 9:01am I was getting the "you already have 2 tickets" message, because she was logged in with 2 reserved too. When she kicked herself out (after I'd re-added her to my Friends and Family list from which she'd been unfathomably deleted), I was then able to buy some (other) tickets, because the ones I'd already reserved still wouldn't allocate to me. But we then changed our minds, and got 9 seats with mates in Block 2 instead.

 

With the exception of the deleting of my wife's info from my Friends List, this is all the system "working as intended", but it is SUCH a bunch of faffing and the error messages are toilet.

Oh, and one other thing, why haven't they automatically added the Season ticket holder's seat number to "Favourite Seat" on the system? You actually can't do it for yourself until a Cup game, because your seat is always reserved (to you) for all the league matches - and if you're in 41 or 42 you can't do it for this match either!
