Tough run doesn't especially get easier until probably the end of January.

Run until then is:

Burnley away

Everton home

Palace away

Chelsea home

Arsenal home

Man Utd away

Newcastle away

Where do you think we will be placed end of Jan?

I think 7th, with top 4 gone, 5th and 6th still do-able if we can replicate early season form.

Where do you think we will be?

In an ideal world, at what stage of the season would you like to see us reach 40 points?

Oh God, seriously just don't even talk to him. You will get nothing but garbage.

Around 10th and starting to look at winnable games to reach the 40 point safety mark.

Another rib - tickler from the comedy king of the Internet.

As soon as possible. Job done ! Then we can relax and enjoy the season, even if we only pick up a few points.

We will beat burnley and Everton if we get Toby and Morgan back IMO. Draw at palace lose to Chelsea. However, think we can beat arsenal. Draw at toon and lose at utd. So fourth tbh and in cup semi. Ward prowse and Gallagher will be fit and we will have more depth in squad.

Said we wouldn't be top 6 by Xmas and I stand by that. There's some great odds to be had on us not finishing in the top 10.

Think you will be wrong.

Playing Burnley and Everton - 3 points from those guarantees top 5 at Christmas.

Both Arsenal and Newcastle need to gain 4 points on us over those two games to overtake us.

They can't both get 6 as playing each other.

Arsenal - playing Newcastle and Liverpool

Newcastle - playing Arsenal and Spurs

Swansea need 5 more points than over 2 games and are playing Spurs and Hull.

Liverpool and Spurs can only be ahead of us by Christmas if they win both of their and we lose both of ours.

Liverpool playing Man U and Arsenal

Spurs playing Swansea and Burnley.

Which 2 do you see overtaking us? I think we will be top 6, probably top 5 at Christmas. If we lose 5 in a row, with one point from 6 games then we are likely to drop!

Surely Swansea could overtake us by getting 4 points more and scoring a lot of goals, you know like whopping Hull 8-0 with us conceding a fair few. It's not likely of course but it is possible.

Top 6 secured for Christmas, unless Arsenal humiliate Liverpool then top 5 for Christmas.

Looking at their fixtures, spurs will be disappointed if they don't overtake us by end of the month.

Would hope to stay above arsenal and west ham.

Can't see any of the others overtaking us by the Ned of the month.

Top 5 by end of January, and having played Man U, Newcastle and Arsenal twice, with two possible rivals (Liverpool and Spurs) still to come to St Marys, wouldn't be bad place to be.
