Batman Posted 21 December, 2014 Share Posted 21 December, 2014 Why? They would possibly have more clubs come in during the summer and it would significantly weaken our chances of getting into the Europa League. As for the player its only another 4 months. He will have plenty of options in the summer. there will be few clubs in the summer. Arsenal, united, PSG maybe. he is not world class and we will want a lot of money I hope the club say no, regardless
jasonb Posted 21 December, 2014 Share Posted 21 December, 2014 No problem with players leaving so long as we take the purchasing club for every last penny, up front, in full with a tidy sell-on. Thank you. Pleasure doing business. This is our new model. Southampton F.C. A selling club to the elite clubs in Europe.... But for stupid money... All teams in the world should be aware of this now. Alain Perrin Posted 22 December, 2014 Share Posted 22 December, 2014 The problem with t'internet is that any monkey with a keyboard can aspire to be Woodward or Bernstein. Unfortunately their definition of investigative reporting is to read yesterday's reports, regurgitate (preferably with a capitalised words in the title, "Why Arsenal MUST sign this EXPLOSIVE midfielder") and repeat. Before you know it a rumour started in a bedroom in Bolton has 25 articles reinforcing it. Honestly, if it wasn't for porn, I'd hate the internet.... When he first came there was a lot of fuss on the site I was on at the time about Lowe bringing in him to sell him on fairly quickly to make a healthy profit to help with the finances. That was as clearly as spot on him being groomed or bought by Arsenal at the time.
Saint Charlie Posted 26 December, 2014 Share Posted 26 December, 2014 L'Equipe saying Arsenal had the chance to buy Morgan early in the summer but Wenger dithered and Saints blocked the move later in the window. If true, I wonder what who we were actually hoping to keep. Sounds like we would have accepted decent bids for pretty much any player.

I have no doubt morgan will leave in the summer but we would be mad to let himgo in jan, 20 million is low considering how much Lallana went for (Morgan being a far better player) and he wants regular CL fotball and trophies so why would he go to spurs? Like I said Morgan will go but he won't be cheap or go to a **** club like spurs IMO
