jb4life Posted 18 December, 2014 Posted 18 December, 2014 Bolasie. A winger in form who can pick a man out and run at a defender. Been crying out for one since punch left.
Turkish Posted 18 December, 2014 Posted 18 December, 2014 Am spamming the dutch league. Whats happening with Memphis ? http://www.whoscored.com/Players/110154http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arkadiusz-milik/profil/spieler/191891 Koeman hopes to Walk in Memphis yes?
SuperSAINT Posted 18 December, 2014 Posted 18 December, 2014 Time for our annual link with Luis Muriel http://www.squawka.com/news/reports-southampton-eye-udinese-forward-luis-muriel/251524?
LatvianTolix Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 According to Russian sports website Sportbox, Saints are after Javi Garcia from Zenit this January. Anyone heard this before? http://news.sportbox.ru/Vidy_sporta/Futbol/transfers/spbnews_NI504005_Vylet_Zenita_iz_LCh_zastavit_Garsiju_vernutsa_v_APL
Wade Garrett Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 According to Russian sports website Sportbox, Saints are after Javi Garcia from Zenit this January. Anyone heard this before? http://news.sportbox.ru/Vidy_sporta/Futbol/transfers/spbnews_NI504005_Vylet_Zenita_iz_LCh_zastavit_Garsiju_vernutsa_v_APL Think the press have mentioned it in the last couple of weeks.
The9 Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 Vietto (villareal) Berahino Depay Clasie Would all be great options for our squad. Berahino apparently is a bit billy big-balls, not our kind of attitude and that's why West Brom have stopped bothering to talk to him about a new contract.
igsey Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 Berahino apparently is a bit billy big-balls, not our kind of attitude and that's why West Brom have stopped bothering to talk to him about a new contract. He's a perfect fit for Liverpool.
the saint in winchester Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 Bolasie. A winger in form who can pick a man out and run at a defender. Been crying out for one since punch left. Like. But is he Dutch? Ever been to Holland? We need a basis to proceed. Can he sound Dutch like Schteeve?
the saint in winchester Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 Sanago, of Arsenal put in shop window for loan? We are Arsenal's feeder club, so maybe they can return the favour?
Saints foreva Posted 19 December, 2014 Posted 19 December, 2014 Sanago, of Arsenal put in shop window for loan? We are Arsenal's feeder club, so maybe they can return the favour? That wouldn't be much of a favour. He's a donkey.

Would koeman demand a bit more respect than Irvine. Don't think his head is there, he's destined for better things than a relegation dogfight.
GarrettIvo Posted 20 December, 2014 Posted 20 December, 2014 Would koeman demand a bit more respect than Irvine. Don't think his head is there, he's destined for better things than a relegation dogfight. Be highly unlikely his head is anywhere near the south coast either.
supersonic Posted 20 December, 2014 Posted 20 December, 2014 Expect us to go back in again for Classie and, as others have mentioned, Memphis Depay as it looks like we can't rely on J-Rod. Would like us to go out and get another striker as well. Surprised we didn't go for Adam Le Fondre, would do a very good job for us coming off the bench and grabbing a goal. Would certainly be a better option than Mayuka

Would certainly be a better option than Mayuka ALF has done f*ck all at Cardiff since he moved, and we have Seager coming through who is a similar type of player. If we're looking for a striker I would rather see us go for somebody who can play a similar role to Rickie used to play, dropping deep and linking up play because Pelle seems to be more of a line-leader.
Smirking_Saint Posted 20 December, 2014 Posted 20 December, 2014 Just go a blow the bank for depay and Benteke
JxgrSaint Posted 20 December, 2014 Posted 20 December, 2014 Kane and Depay, with Elia as a bench option in a perfect world...
whelk Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Freddy Adu. Apparently his Serbian club have just terminated his contract. Read somewhere the boy has a big future
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Didn't Depay turn us down in the Summer? Just cannot see that one happening.
John Boy Saint Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Michael Owen on loan? Good shout, I was going to say McManamanaman but thought that was just being silly
doddisalegend Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Just go a blow the bank for depay and Benteke Works for me
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Works for me Except Depay is not interested, and we are self-sustaining club so won't go 'breaking the bank' for anybody. But yes, apart from that sounds good.
Patrick Bateman Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Michael Owen on loan? And Wade Elliott. Isn't Wayne Bridge available too? He'd do.
Turkish Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 And Wade Elliott. Isn't Wayne Bridge available too? He'd do. N/T
Lorne Malvo Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Adnan Januzaj on loan might be good, as it seems he might be available. Whether they want to loan him to a Euro spot competitor is another thing.
SFC Chris Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Bolasie. A winger in form who can pick a man out and run at a defender. Been crying out for one since punch left. Kris Commons is an absolute no brainer. Skillfull, excellent delivery and always a goal threat either from wide positions or off the front. Out of favour and out of contract at the end of the season so he'd be available for next to nothing. I'd also be having a look at John Guidetti if he's available in January.

Golden Balls Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Bolasie. A winger in form who can pick a man out and run at a defender. Been crying out for one since punch left. Been saying this since we played Plymouth in L1.
Sour Mash Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Been saying this since we played Plymouth in L1. Palace aren't going to sell Bolasie to us unless we chucked down stupid money. And I wouldn't be surprised if the player himself might be looking for European football if he was to move. Might be a different story if Palace were to go down, but I can't see that quite happening.
SFC Chris Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Hahahaha. No. For a start isn't he over 30? 31 I believe. And far superior to Mane, Mayuka, or anyone else you want to trot out to play on the wing opposite Tadic.
Lorne Malvo Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 31 I believe. And far superior to Mane, Mayuka, or anyone else you want to trot out to play on the wing opposite Tadic. Mane probably not. Stick him in Scotland and he would look superior. As he did playing in Austria. Mayuka I'll give you that one.
Lighthouse Posted 22 December, 2014 Author Posted 22 December, 2014 Adnan Januzaj on loan might be good, as it seems he might be available. Whether they want to loan him to a Euro spot competitor is another thing. Think I mentioned this on the first page and got asked the same question. I guess it would depend on whether United genuinely feel we are a threat to the top 4. If not, perhaps they feel they would benefit from us beating teams like Arsenal and Spuds. Would be an excellent option to have and would cost very little.
waterlooville saint Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Adnan Januzaj on loan might be good, as it seems he might be available. Whether they want to loan him to a Euro spot competitor is another thing. What's the limit on the number of loans from EPL teams?
Wrensup Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 31 I believe. And far superior to Mane, Mayuka, or anyone else you want to trot out to play on the wing opposite Tadic. We're talking about the same Kris commons who was distinctly average in the Championship for Nottingham forest and Derby yes?
Saint Charlie Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-set-move-5million-rated-slovenia-4674213 Just joined Dortmund.
Bewildered Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Oh well, maybe we can get Kampl in the summer when Dortmund get relegated! (They won't get relegated, despite their current predicament)
Turkish Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Still think we should go for Patrick Bamford.
Patrick Bateman Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Still think we should go for Patrick Bamford. I think that's actually a good shout. Another player Chelsea have bought yet are happy to keep loaning out. Happy to keep taking them ... they've lost out on Cork and Lukaku, hopefully they'll lose out on Bertrand and let's add Bamford to that potential list. Any other players they seemingly don't give a monkeys about??
sentry Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Exactly, just because the cant make the Chelsea team doesnt mean they arnta great/potentially great player.... look at Matic!
Pastor Patrón Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Has anyone itk commented on Dybala? Or are Kbilly and Guan in a huff still? He'd be such a GOAT signing, I've never seen him play, but £30mill on a 21yr old Argentinian striker, fuk yes.

Any other players they seemingly don't give a monkeys about?? 6ft 1, mobile, decent record in the championship, looks to have loads of potential and has the all important qualities of being young, hungry and therefore guaranteed to improve. Would come here second choice to Pelle with a view to being his long term replacement. Probably wouldn't cost that much either.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Still think we should go for Patrick Bamford. Looked decent last season. Haven't followed him this, is he at 'boro? How's he getting on?
Pastor Patrón Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Nothing would say "we've arrived" more then signing Patrick Bamford imo. Let's hope we don't **** about on personal terms as the big boys will surely be circling.
LatvianTolix Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Dutch press writting about Dario Tanda from Twente coming on trial in January. probably young gun for Development squad???
Turkish Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 Looked decent last season. Haven't followed him this, is he at 'boro? How's he getting on? Doing well now, 7 goals in 16 games after a slow start seems to have for into his stride.

Out of favour and out of contract at the end of the season so he'd be available for next to nothing. I'd also be having a look at John Guidetti if he's available in January. Guidetti is on loan for the full season at Celtic but his contract expires on 30.06.2015. Another decent striker would be Tomas Necid. He was on loan at PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie for the first half of the season and CSKA Moscow have recalled him so that they can sell him in january. His contract also expires on 30.06.2015. He would be a good and cheap backup to Pelle and immediately available and fit. Necid is a younger version of Pelle at age 25. He has scored 10 goals in 19 games in all comps for Zwolle.
pangy Posted 22 December, 2014 Posted 22 December, 2014 I still think Sinclair or Joel Campbell could do a job...is Vela still at Arsenal ?
