Wiggles31 Posted 3 December, 2014 Share Posted 3 December, 2014 Draw is on Monday. Who do you want? Pompey.... Oh wait. Reading away for me would be a good away trip and my mates are Royals fans.
Brave Sir Robin Posted 4 December, 2014 Share Posted 4 December, 2014 Arsenal. So that we can knock them out and perhaps injure some of their key players in the process (not that I'm bitter!)
Lighthouse Posted 4 December, 2014 Share Posted 4 December, 2014 Pom... ah f**k. A nice easy home game for me please. Plenty of big guns over the X-mas period as it is. No doubt whoever we draw will be 'boring' to people who were expecting the 1970 Brazil team.
CB Fry Posted 4 December, 2014 Share Posted 4 December, 2014 Just someone dull and easy at home. Be nice to go on another decent cup run, but hopefully we will be in the semis of one competition by then anyway.

Not sure anything can match the "eighth place fever" that swamped the whole city last year, you couldn't move for bunting and street parties that final weekend. It's such a magical thing to achieve a placement about two thirds of the way up the league. Just magical in a way that no other achievement in domestic football can ever match. sandwichsaint Posted 4 December, 2014 Share Posted 4 December, 2014 Are Southend still in? We could reprise that magical Friday night game but without the biblical rain. Brighton away, Brentford away, Charlton away, basically any away game nearer than SMS and that we could win. Are Dagenham and Redbridge still in? The9 Posted 5 December, 2014 Share Posted 5 December, 2014 (edited) Draw is on Monday. Who do you want? Pompey.... Oh wait. Reading away for me would be a good away trip and my mates are Royals fans. With our run of fixtures I want us to draw a crappy League 2 side at home. Non-league would be too much attention and a greater risk of injury, some "happy to get this far" lower league bums would be a good chance to rotate the reserves in. Oxford, Tranmere, Sc*nthorpe, Hartlepool all look like good ones - if they get through. bpsaint Posted 6 December, 2014 Share Posted 6 December, 2014 Eastleigh would be a good crack, if a little odd though as I imagine a great deal of their fan base are Saints fans anyway? stockportsaint Posted 8 December, 2014 Share Posted 8 December, 2014 Huddersfield away - we never managed to win there in League One, so it'd be nice to reverse that. Brighton away for similar reasons, plus my sister lives there. Southport or Wrexham for geographical reasons would be great to do a non-League ground. The9 Posted 8 December, 2014 Share Posted 8 December, 2014 (edited) Gonna be a bit of a pain actually hearing about the draw, seeing as many of us will be on our way to St Mary's when it happens. Ok, so here's the MLG-approved "The9 Ranking of remaining teams" table, based on existing League positions. The first 44 are easy (though 3-5 has to get a shake up tonight, it'll be after the draw).
