Train for Wednesday

I could be wrong here but when I travelled up to London last year for New Year's Eve at off peak times a group of us got a return train ticket from Eastleigh to Waterloo for about £13 each. When I checked online earlier the cheapest I can find is £183 for a group of 5.

 

Has anyone got cheaper tickets then this? I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong??

I seem to remember they had deals on in the run up to Christmas last year, don't seem to have any this year.

Booking two days before travel will always be expensive, needed to check weeks back

When we went new year we just got the tickets at the station, no advance booking

They have stopped the 4 for 2 deal they used to do I think.

No they haven't stopped it you will have to use the groupsave option and it works out at £28 each with a days travel card.
